24.01.2022 These are the nights The night before I had walked around the camp area taking pics of the stars. I swapped my usual 16-35 for 55mm. I hadnt really tried Astro with the lens. I was impressed. The next night I headed out to a Forest Gump hill. Astrophotographers will know that experience when you are waiting for an exposure, it finished and you check the screen. When something like this appears you are blown away.

20.01.2022 Twilight zone The glacier meets its end. Unlike some other areas where the ice breaks off into a lake, this one was frozen. Some chunks must still break off and slide across the frozen lake. As seen in a previous post (ice-olation). We arrived as the light hit blue hour colouring the sky with pink and purple hues. By this time there was no one around and it was a race back to car park before darkness fell across the land and covered out path.

16.01.2022 Happy WA Day. 11 years ago when I packed a car and drove across the Nullarbor, I had no idea the adventures this state would bring and the love of photography it would grow. This shot dimes up my three favourite aspects of WA: the ocean, the outback and golden light at sunset.

14.01.2022 Insta and Facebook have really lifted their advertising. On insta, it feels every 3rd pic is sponsored. And the weirdest part is how you talk about something and then it starts popping up. Insta must think I look like this because I have so many fitness products, programs and apps appearing telling me to get fitter healthier and stronger (no offence seal. Im sure youre healthy and strong). . Whats popping up in your ad posts?

10.01.2022 Forest iso Todays adventure takes us to England. I found the weather in England during my visit (winter) to be so glum. Even when the sun was shining, it didnt feel it would last and a cover of clouds was impending. I guess we are fortunate in Perth Aus for our amazing blue skies. @ Chesire

03.01.2022 Flow In the evening, cars make their way along the tracks in front of the famous buttes of monument valley. Using long exposure to capture the movement of the cars.
03.01.2022 Icelandic Isolation- just normal life. Driving along the southern rim road, there are farm houses dotted along the coast. Farm life would be quite isolating but just the norm. Work during the week and maybe see neighbours/friends on the weekend. Just like some Aussie farmers I guess.
