16.01.2022 About Headspace: Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, supporting young people aged 12-25 with mental ill-health, physical health concerns, alcohol and other drug use, and work and study support. Headspace Meadowbrook is the largest headspace centre in the Greater Brisbane area, and services the Logan region. Unlike most headspace centres, this centre provides more than just the primary headspace service, it also houses the Youth Early Psychosis Program, I...ntensive Placement and Support (IPS), Social Inclusion Program and ImpaRa. About the additional programs: Headspace Youth Early Psychosis Program (hYEPP)- supports young people who are at risk of experiencing or have already experience a first episode of psychosis Intensive Placement and Support (IPS)- Assists young people in finding study and employment options Social Inclusion- The social inclusion program has been designed to provide a separate referral pathway for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Pacific Islander, Maori, CALD young people, LBGTIQ+ community & their families into headspace. ImpaRa- An Indigenous suicide prevention and well-being program, exploring Mind Body Spirit and Culture. The ImpaRa program works to improve the quality of life for young Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons by offering structured and socially based activities.
