24.01.2022 About my art. I’ve heard a lot about my art from others, what they think of it. And how disappointed they are to hear I’ve not painted for almost 2 years. But I... think people have missed the point. My art hasn’t gone anywhere, it just appears in different forms. This year for example, I designed my first commercial kitchen, an open design with many intricate details. The endeavour seems to have gone over the heads of many of my art acquaintances, as if I’ve left my passion for something less creative. But I see it differently. Everything is art. And everyone is an artist. If that makes my work worth less, then I guess it truly is artistic, because true art has always struggled to attract a price tag. See more

22.01.2022 We get to host some incredible events at Lorimer Gallery! This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting a most wonderful birthday party - Jackie and Ronil are some of our original (read: FAVOURITE) customers and they decided to have an intimate (read: AWESOME) gathering of 100 of their friends at the gallery. It was honestly a pleasure hosting this interesting group of people. Thanks for the pic! Here's to many more epic events! Demian Carey Gibbins Victoria Davis and the team! 11.01.2022 Wild as you are, I cannot resist, I am drawn into your wilderness and despite this overwhelming fear I have of being lost in you, I push forward. I am filled with the contradictions of hope and terror, fear and awe. Your indifference towards my presence only serves to heighten my awareness of yours. Unrequited curiosity. ambivalent beauty. You don’t know this, but you make me grateful to be alive. - love letter to the mountain

09.01.2022 We now open for dinner on Thursday and Friday nights #fomo
07.01.2022 Artist: Jane Morrison. Open until end of April. Spectrum is a series of photographs exploring the rich diversity of texture and colour found in some of the most remote landscapes on earth. Many of the works capture melting glaciers and icebergs and are a poignant reminder of the fragility of our precious planet. The fact that these landscapes will never again be captured exactly as they are here, due to the rapid deterioration of large ice reserves, add to this body of work a...n historical significance in documenting the phenomena of global warming. The body of work is strong in composition and rich in content. These works are simultaneously quiet, yet powerful. Even if you attended the opening, I encourage you to come back during the quieter hours and spend some time in wandering through the exhibition. Please contact the Gallery if you have any enquiries.
