21.01.2022 In preparation for their visit to the Marine Discovery Centre, the children at our Newtown service have been using foam printing with their art teacher to create these patterns on this material. Drawing inspiration from the marine materials that were brought in, the children drew out their designs prior to printing on the large canvas. Many of these children had not seen these types of marine shells and shapes before so were very curious to use these to create their art

16.01.2022 The children at our Wilson St, Brighton centre have been loving their Heat Kids incursions this week. They have been learning about team work, collaboration, helping each other and the hard work that our wonderful fire fighters do in the community every single day.

11.01.2022 Our Hampton childrens excitement levels are thriving with their introduction to a sports and movement program. They are loving all of the moving, stretching and shaking they do with the instructors!

09.01.2022 After taking an excursion to the local Coles supermarket, the children at Hampton made their own wraps for afternoon tea using ingredients they had all selected to use at the supermarket. Giving children the opportunity to help make decisions about their nutrition and encouraging them to make varied and healthy choices allows them to feel in control and often more willing to try new tastes and textures. Our educators often use our own vegetable gardens to show the process of how ingredients in the garden transform into yummy treats in the kitchen and children absolutely thrive when they can see that process in action
