23.01.2022 Aaahhhh, the secret’s out #woopwoop #boyupbrook

20.01.2022 Posting this on behalf of Inez Stemp... My parents, Matt (first with his brother, John, and later with his wife) and Carla Bruekers neé Kelderman, lived in Kulikup in the 1950’s and 1960’s. My Dad, now 95, lives in Perth, and occasionally reminisces about people he used to know. I have shown him photos from Lost Boyup Brook and he remembers random things. ... I am wondering if there is anyone on this page who remembers, or whose parents/grandparents remember, my Dad? See more

12.01.2022 Searching for information on behalf of Billy Davies.... MICHAEL McCANN "We are searching for any information on our great uncle, we have managed to track his movements across Australia to Boyup Brook we believe he worked in the Boyup Brook Flax Mill his name was Michael McCann he would have been in his mid 50's when he worked there, he came from County Down in Ireland. We think he was at the Mill for 10 years until he went back to Korbel, then on to Tammin and finally the Yanchep Inn where he died in 1964. He worked as contract farmer previously sewing and harvesting wheat throughout WA in places like Korbel, Buntine, Mukinbudin, Northam and Merredin. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated."

10.01.2022 Another request for information.... can you help? "Aurora Environmental is seeking information on the former landfill / sanitary waste tip that used to occupy the high school site until around 1948, such as types of material that was tipped here, years of operation, was material from the flax mill disposed here? location of the trenches etc. Other helpful information such as photographs would also be helpful.
