19.01.2022 With all the pre work in place to kick off smoothly on Saturday we now have plenty of opportunity to plan for the future events. We had a nice full board in March and our plan is to be ahead of the events so we don't bother you all by sending out a call to fill positions every Thursday. Please send a message to the page to grab the special spot you are after or let us know at the event so we can put you on the Volly board. Thank you in advance for helping in any capacity you can.

12.01.2022 As exciting as it is for us all to restart on Saturday we do need to adhere to a few requirements to have the safest event whilst complying with our Qld Government Covid Safe Industry plan. 1. Provide QR code for event check in to allow for contact tracing ( see attached picture). You can complete before, at event for yourself and companions. This is specific to each event. You can also access via this weblink: https://www.parkrun.com/trace/6yn 1a. Don't forget your barcode.... 2. Practice physical distancing as much as possible. So we will muster to start and get you away in minutes without fuss. So please get to the front if you run a 14 minute 5k, to the back with prams and small children please. 2a. Don't forget your barcode. 3. Be familiar with guide for participants in second photo. 3a. Don't forget your barcode. 4. Smile for the camera, we are back ! 5. 02.01.2022 Good Morning Lota

01.01.2022 Perfect weather for a little exercise in the park at Lota. 23 degrees with a light breeze and a rising tide to spot the dolphins. If you own a big bundle of car keys we suggest you remove the single car key so you can run with it. We wont have a shared container.
