24.01.2022 Dianthus $13 Plant and Terracotta pot Dianthus plants produce long-lasting flowers and are generally easy to care for. Water the plants according to how much moisture remains in the soil. 09.01.2022 Large cucumber plants in pots. $15 They have their own support/trellis already attached to the pot. These already have fruit and many flowers on them. They have been fertilized. You need to do nothing but water them, maybe some liquid fertilizer now and then, to receive bucket loads of cucumbers for months to come. Cucumber plants like sun, moisture and well-drained soil. The most important aspect for cucumber plants is morning sun as this will dry the morning dew off the pl...ant and minimize the risk of mildew. Try not to wet the leaves Every 3 weeks apply soluble fertilizer around the base of the plant and try your best to keep the liquid fertilizer off the leaves. These flowering plants love well-draining soil but do not like to have soggy roots. They like partial shade or full sun, but with our hot summers here in Townsville, partial shade is better.... A liquid fertilizer applied occasionally, will keep these buckets bright and full of flowers. See more

07.01.2022 Impatiens $8.50 Plant and pot only These colourful flowers, bloom plentifully to brighten and cheer up the dark and shady gardens all season. They are very easy to grow . An excellent option to be grown as bedding plants or as border plants and they can also be grown in containers.... The typical size of an Impatiens is a little more than 12 inches. These flowering annuals love well-draining soil but do not like to be kept in full sun. They will tolerate partial shade, but deeply enjoy and love to be grown in deep shade conditions. Make sure that the soil is kept moist at all times, but do not keep it too wet. See more

06.01.2022 Crossandra Plant and pot $8.50 NOT $9 These plants thrive best in bright indirect light. My main plant (pictured) is growing in mostly full sun all day and seems to be doing fine though. Indoors, your plants can do well with bright artificial light. During the growing season, water frequently and never allow the soil to dry out. If you are growing them indoors in pots, you can water less often during the winter. Feed with a weak liquid fertilizer throughout the growing season. I am at Alligator Creek.
