22.01.2022 g l i t t e r | I got 52 different colours of glitter delivered last week and I was absolutely itching to start making something with them! Excited to see what these galactic beauties look like when they’re all done!

22.01.2022 g l i t t e r | playing with some new colours. Yellow has never been one I have gravitated towards but I am loving this neon yellow with some iridescent teal glitter and pigment mixed with black. I’m thinking of putting these on hoops so they can glimmer in the sunlight.

19.01.2022 s u n r i s e | the colours in this sweet little planter remind me of a sunrise, that dusky pink and muted orange right before the sun pokes up over the land. I definitely have a little bit of an obsession with pink - it’s something I find I use in almost all my work! Pink and gold will be my favourites forever

It’s impossible for me to pick favourites because I love all my earrings equally but these are definitely in my top 5! This pair is staying with me. These made to order pretties take a few weeks to paint, set, cure and varnish but the way the colours work with the metallic ink and mix together is so magical it’s worth the wait. 14.01.2022 c u s t o m | I’ve been pretty quiet on the gram for a little while! I’ve been busy juggling my day job, my art business, getting fit and being a good girlfriend/daughter/friend/sister, which has been a challenge! This is one of 12 gorgeous custom colour pots I’ve been finishing for a client. She wanted blues, teals and silver so I had to create a silver ink and I am so happy with the result! I really love seeing the vibrant cobalt blue against the afternoon sky, such a pretty colour combo.

09.01.2022 a d o r n | remember butterfly clips? In 1999 I was in Year 7, and I had an enviable butterfly clip collection. I never subscribed to the ‘less is more’ aesthetic and used to wear the vast majority of them at once, with these little iridescent plastic clips sparkling through my hair (complete with glitter hair gel AND purple hair mascara). You can think of these little cuties as a leveled up 2020 version. Glitter gel still optional of course.

06.01.2022 c r e a t e | here’s one of two pieces created for some good friends of mine. They were sister pieces, all made from the same colours but with different composition. This is what I love about alcohol ink, it’s unpredictable and hard to control but the final effect is so beautiful. 600x900, alcohol ink and shellac on yupo paper

02.01.2022 h a n d m a d e one of the best things I have learned this year is how to create my own shapes and moulds. These sparkly beauties are made from little shapes that I made myself. It’s been so much fun to create unique jewellery pieces that are all my own. Thanks so much to everyone who placed an order last night, there are a few pieces left including these cuties!
