24.01.2022 Play Time Dogs love play time, it gets rid of their pent up energy and breaks up their day. Whether it’s a tennis ball, their favourite toys or just some running around the yard, they will be ready for a nap after a good play time with me. We can play seek and find with yummy treats, we can try some treat puzzles to stimulate their inquisitiveness. For those of you who have working dog breeds e.g. Border Collies, Kelpies or crosses, there are a range of activities that we can implement to create lots of mental stimulation which helps reduce that working dog drive.

20.01.2022 Walking It is important for our dogs to be socialised and one of the best ways is for them to be exposed to different noises, smells and environments. A good one hour walk for your pooches reduces any anxiety they may exhibit from spending their day in your back yard. I like to choose different walking paths or routes to keep them interested. I have experience with anxious dogs and will select areas that maybe quieter, making sure there are no roaming dogs around, to keep their anxiety levels down and will keep them safe. For those social dogs we can visit lots of lively places to entertain your pooch. If you have problems with your dog pulling hard when you start your walk, we can discuss various leads, harnesses and technique.

20.01.2022 Went to Tuggeranong and Yarralumla dog parks today to hand out business cards and introduce myself and Loveable Pet Care to some potential clients. It was a beautiful day for it and I met some beautiful dogs and people who I hope to soon be clients of Loveable Pet Care. Special thanks to Claire Skein for coming along with me and looking awesome in my new work t-shirt that I got printed from Monaro Workwear and Promotional Products in Fyshwick.
