25.01.2022 JUNGLE MAN . Kate's first impression of Andrew was not only memorable, but a little bit scary . It was 2017 at a house party (remember those?!) And before she knew it, this jungle man was wildly dancing towards her with leaves taped to his sleeves and pants, and birds of paradise sticking out of his hat... . With Andrews entire physique hidden under a pile of forest floor, Kate had no choice but to get to know his personality, and it only took a few minutes of talking to realise they were pretty much perfect for each other . 25.01.2022 3 months of long distance during James army training was enough to make him realise that Lauren should FOR SURE be his future wife. . Early one Saturday morning he just had the urge to call her up and casually asked her to marry him. Lauren kindly explained their was a little more involved, but she said YES! . 22.01.2022 WHO THE FK IS SHE ANYWAY? All my newbie couples are prob thinking- who is this rando who will be marrying me? That’s a fair question. We’re about to share something pretty intimate. It’s time I refresh ya’ll. ... Well, I’m Lara. I’m 25. Raised in Northern NSW (which means I spent the first fews years of my education planting trees and making rainbow felt dolls) no joke. Moved to Bris 7 years ago to study a Bachelor of Music in Jazz vocals, I gig here and there, and I write songs under my alias Lars Night. I think my fave food would have to be pizza. I enjoy wine, stand up comedy, the odd hip hop class, front n centre mosh at music festivals, fancy gin, brie (and then regretting it because my sinuses can’t cope), travel, YouTube yoga, nostalgia (aka making myself cry while looking at old photos for the 7th time that day) I’m a bit of a control freak when it comes to being car Dj, every year I cry more at beautiful things, I crave affection, like many I battle with anxiety, am a rather average duolingo french student, I’m afraid of lizards...oh!And I marry couples like yourselves! 18.01.2022 I think I speak on behalf of most wedding Industry professionals when I say that we often find ourselves morphing into whatever role is necessary to make your wedding run smoothly. You may THINK youre just the celebrant, or you may THINK youre just the musician, or the stylist or the Dj. But ya know what? Sometimes you end up standing on a chair, taking the group shot because the photographer is a family friend and wants to be in the pic, and fair enough too!! (Full disclo...sure, I do not suggest booking me as your photographer anytime soon)... But, its moments like this (and celebrantladylove touched on this topic the other day) that are a great reminder of why we put a price tag on ourselves. We are literally just here to make sure shit goes to plan, even when plans are made on the spot.

18.01.2022 CLAIRE AND JACOB Jacob might accidentally leave Claire on moving trains in India, and Claire might never pay the bills on time, but hey, overall I think theyre pretty bloody stoked on each other. . These two met in uni back in 2014 while practicing nursing on the creepy mannequins. Yesterday I helped them get married in front of 40 of their favourite people, and I even stuck around to sing them some songs with @webstaa94 .... When I met Claire and Jacob, I found two friends. ( And I wasnt kidding when I said youre coming to my wedding in 2040 when the plague is over).

14.01.2022 SURPRISE!! When Brodie and Matt’s original wedding plans got ripped into tiny pieces, trampled, tossed and lit on fire in the Covid bin ...they temporarily gave up on the idea of getting married in 2020, and said they’d hit me up when they had a new date in mind- Words I’d grown accustomed to hearing. Well, only a few weeks passed before Brodie reached out again. She decided they were going to KEEP their date, and instead, surprise 30 of their loved ones at Brodie’s birt...hday lunch with a short and sweet surprise wedding! I knew that this meant...and I’d done it before...I was going undercover Yesterday I walked out into a beautiful garden rotunda at @cedarcreekestate, wearing all black, holding an ice bucket and a glass of champagne. I welcomed everyone to cedar creek and proceeded to give a bday shout out to Brodie, before informing them that they wouldn’t just be celebrating a bday today (and that, for the record, I didnt actually work there... ) Needless to say, everyone lost their freakin minds. 12.01.2022 When Jeanette and Mauricio first started dating, their lack of English (and, in particular) thick German and Colombian accents made for a few hilarious communication errors. . Jeanette went to Bali for a holiday and left Mauricio a note for him saying :" thank you for everything; I will never be even with you. When he came home and read the message he frantically called her asking:" what's wrong? Why can't you be with me???" Jeanette was so confused and then realised that wh...at she MEANT to say wasshe is grateful for everything he's done for her and that she will never be able to give that back to him. . LOL. AWKS. . Wade loves how Rita can come up with a simpsons quote to suit any scenario and Rita loves how Wade commands the karaoke floor, especially like the night they met, down at the Bruns Hotel in New Farm. 05.01.2022 CINDERELLA (kinda) A lot of young girls imagine theyll grow up and meet their future husbands at a fancy ball, in a beautiful gown, and romantically stroll into the wee hours of the morning as they reminisce about the evening, before getting whisked away in a pumpkin coach. ... Ines informed me that she is definitely NOT that kind of girl, which is why I found it quite amusing that this story LITERALLY happened to her- well, kind of. Ines and Sams romantic post midnight stroll was more like a drunken hike to Manly from the South Bank Convention Centre, and the pumpkin coach was a taxi from Morningside when they realised that hiking the entire way was insane! Both Sam and Iness first second year or uni, and first time attending a ball. That was 10 years ago. On Saturday they became husband and wife in front of 98 of their loved ones. 04.01.2022 HOWS THE NERVE . When Adriana celebrated her 18th Birthday, Shane was definitely not invited. That being said, he still had the nerve to rock up as the unofficial plus 1 with his sister (who was ACTUALLY on the list!).... At the party, Shane was particularly impressed with Adrianas mums homemade sushi and made a point of bringing it up every 5 minutes. He then treated himself to a night at their family home and continued to invite himself over ever since. They have their own place now, but Shanes Love for Adrianas mums cooking hasnt changed!
