24.01.2022 Now that the country is opening up, I’ll be flying to Townsville to officiate a small and intimate ceremony for a wonderful couple. Never been so north before. What to wear... #tropicalwedding #northernaustralia #queensland #love #elopement

23.01.2022 NSW WEDDINGS UPDATE You can now seat 30 people together at one table at your venue (previously this was 10). Please note: ... From Tuesday 1 December 2020, the number of people who can attend weddings will increase up to 300 people (previously this was 150). To calculate the maximum capacity for your venue, use the 4 square metre rule for indoors, and 2 square metre rule for outdoors. Up to 20 people in the official wedding party are allowed on the dance floor. Only these 20 people can be on the dance floor at any one time. No rotation of different people is allowed. We’re getting there! #weddingphotography #wedding #love

23.01.2022 Thought I’d take the new eco-friendly car out for its first wedding rehearsal this afternoon - cannot wait for this riverside wedding #love #weddinglocation #marriage

20.01.2022 When you see celebrants claim they are award recipeints, be aware that the major industry awards in Australia expect you to pay them to receive recognition. Their award system expects couples to nominate and vote for you. Then it becomes a popularity contest, and not one based on excellence or actual professionalism. Think of the Logies Awards and that’s pretty much what the ABIA Awards are. If you want to know the great celebrants in your area, speak to the people who know: photographers, DJ’s, venues, caterers, etc #marriage #wedding #celebrant #awards

15.01.2022 I cannot wait for November 20 to tell you how much I love the work I do for the many couples and families I work for, sharing the stories and the love and the laughs (and sometimes the heartbreak). I can’t even begin to describe how grateful I am to be a small part in your day #grateful #celebrant #love

14.01.2022 GREAT NEWS! From December 1 the number of people who can attend weddings in NSW will be lifted to 300 people, subject to the 4-square-metre rule indoors and 2-square-metre rule outdoors. However there is no change to dancing at weddings, with only the bridal party (of up to 20 people) allowed on the dancefloor.... BUT still! Let's hope this positive change continues.

13.01.2022 So now I have a signing table AND a sign-in table! Weddings are safe since I’ve now completed several COVID safety courses and registered my business as a COVID Safe business. Even though the wedding early this afternoon was a small gathering for Bill and Ellyce, we all made sure we kept safely distant #love #covidwedding #marriage

13.01.2022 VICTORIAN WEDDINGS UPDATE: weddings in Victoria can now have up to ten people, the celebrant and photographer are not included in this number! Like NSW, there are strict COVID guidelines to go with this, so DM me now for more info #covidwedding #love #marriage

12.01.2022 I check in with all service providers before or on the day, to make sure the couple gets everything they have asked for - including a celebrant who doesn't get in the way! I love going to weddings and seeing a celebrant who is self-aware, and moves out of the crucial photo shots - the ring exchange and the kiss. I have also vowed never to wear a skin coloured head mic - audio equipment needs to be out of visual.

09.01.2022 A big shout out to one of Albury’s brilliant small business operators, Glen Strauss. Glen designed and installed my signage with a whole lotta care, and I couldn’t be happier #advertising #marriage #smallbusiness

04.01.2022 I’ve been awarded Best Regional Celebrant for 2018! If you want to meet up for an obligation free chat about your special day, contact me! #marriage #wedding #love #loverules #soulmate

02.01.2022 I don’t do bridal expos. These are pressure sell environments which, when it comes to choosing a celebrant, is pressure couples don’t need. And the time to talk about marriage takes more than the four minutes a couple might have when wading through all the vendors. When you book a time to see me, there’s no entry fee. Just a chat, maybe a coffee (because coffee) and answers to any and all of your questions #love #marriage #lifegoals #coffee #marriagecelebrant

02.01.2022 Three years running now, and it's great to see that I've made it once more as one of top 3 celebrants in Albury! A big shout out also to fellow celebrants Sharon Milsome and Mick who were also part of the three!
