07.01.2022 A cold wet miserable Melbourne Spring night brought us to this Korean restaurant on Victoria street in Richmond, called Chimac Plus, read a few reviews in which... people claimed it was the best kbbq in Richmond. So we thought why not? Decor was cute and quirky which i believe is kept from the original Chimac in West Melbourne. Upon looking at the menu Chimac is a Mexican - Korean fusion cuisine. With items such as Bulgogi Burrito's and Quesadilla as some of the MexKor fusion items but also serving the classics such as Korean Fried Chicken, (which Chimac is the Korean nickname for chicken & beer) and at Chimac Plus the added Korean BBQ. Everything was reasonably priced on the menu. The quirky decor and Korean tunes playing in the background made it a very relaxing atmosphere. The waitress was friendly and attentative but it seemed like she enjoyed her job as you can hear her softly humming to the korean tunes playing. The food came out and all the vegetables, salads etc was very fresh. Then the meats started coming out through out the whole dinner the waitress prepared all the meats and cooked them for us. Coming in between serving other tables to turn the meats etc. All in all we were satisfied at the end of our meal and was very happy with the service. Definately would recommend this place to anyone if you are in the area or even curious to try what Mexican-Korean fusion foods taste like. Happy eating! - Polo
