23.01.2022 Christian said he never gets sick of walking over the hill towards this view....we can only agree. Specially on a day like today. Glorious

20.01.2022 It's Goodness Festival - Science, Sustainability and Innovation week! There's been so much going on....and local snapper James Thompson has been taking part in the challenge. Couldn't resist the picture, and the really interesting information about our lovely Pink Lake.

18.01.2022 Wow, just when you think you could never see a new viewpoint in our lovely city, someone takes a picture that just makes you go "wow"! Carmel said this was the 'calm before the storm'. What a great image

17.01.2022 Mist rises over the Greenough River this morning, giving temporary cover to the water birds welcoming the light. Thanks Darcy Hay

17.01.2022 Waiting for the rain. Last feed just before the rain. Katarina takes amazing photos of the birds down on Chapman River. She says this Australasian Darter is so amusing to watch; it is a bit clumsy on the land, but it can fly with incredible grace.

14.01.2022 Punching above our weight yet again! A big winner for the lovelyl Rock's Arcade space. Congratulations to UDLA for winning the 2020 Australian Institute of Landscape Architects WA Award for Excellence in Urban Design. It's yet another accolade for Rocks Laneway and we couldn't be prouder! Stolen from the City of Greater Geraldton site which notes that the pic is from Karl Monaghan Photography Karl Monaghan Photography

14.01.2022 Okay, most of us think they're total nutters...but the Dawn Swimmers of Geraldton love their early morning dips. Caroline shared this picture from this morning. Looks cold but stunningly gorgeous.

11.01.2022 Canola in Spring in East Chapman Valley, a time of year when the landscape comes alive with colour. Local photographer Karl Monaghan Photography says he just loves getting out and about in our own backyard. We're glad he does so we get to see shots like this!

09.01.2022 Just a total WOW! Our Horizon Ball gets pages and pages of pictures taken of it, but this one from Mathias Sehnke is something else. #geraldtonforeshore

07.01.2022 Our local Batavia Coast Maritime Heritage Association does great work and member Howard Gray posted this....(PS if you haven't read Howard's great new book "Jambinbirri" yet - make sure you get a copy - it's an easy, and really interesting read!

06.01.2022 There were swimmers happily paddling up and down between the groynes this morning, as there is most mornings....Caroline was among them and took this gorgeous picture.

06.01.2022 Just do it! Tinheads is one of those quirky "love projects" that makes our city soooooo special. And collector extraordinaire Robert Gaston gives us a great tour in this video

05.01.2022 Well here's a view of Geraldton that you don't see too often! It's the Chapman River, snaking its way to the sea. Photo posted by Deb who is an amazing local photographer, but I think it was probably taken by Sampson Media....

04.01.2022 ...and why wouldn't you want to "Wander Out Yonder" if this is what you're going to see. Glenda has been sneaking out to watch the Wreath flowers unfurl and reports that they're ready to be looked at! We're told the Coal Seam is looking pretty fabulous too!

04.01.2022 When did you last wander through a garden as beautiful as this? It’s the Front garden of our very own Greenough Museum. Why don’t you visit soon.....
