20.01.2022 Happy New Year I’m back into Wedding mode, and hoping 2021 is not going to be another blooper year for us ... Talking about bloopers , if you look closely you will see me shrinking into the ground in this photo ..... did I really just introduce my beautiful couple as Mr And Mrs Broomer .. never in a thousand years .. wrong surname ... but close ... ... so how did I handle it... I introduced them again as Mr and Mrs Bloemer.. ... yayy got it right and took the cue from the adorable Ash as she shrieked with laughter.. so I laughed along with her... I still smile at this memory ... Ash just animated happiness ... I’m sharing this story for a couple of reasons, that life will not always be perfect . Also that on the day all that matters is that you get to marry the one you love , and if there’s a blooper or two along the way we will work through it together. 20.01.2022 Something to take us out of 2020 to have a bit of a laugh about. 2020 in ways has looked after me , as I needed to adapt to big changes. Finding that after 13 years of running pretty much flat out managing one business , and trying to get my Celebrancy up and running has been very tiring and hard at times. The pandemic changed all that.... The Struggles Pretty much only 2 Weddings for 2020. My work life halved . Missing those you love . No hugs Watching how no one in the world got off lightly. Especially those that got the virus. The gains of 2020 No one I love got the virus. I got to marry two beautiful couples. Finding ME as I am and excepting all that I am. Letting go of perfection. Grateful for the good people in my life What I will take into 2021 and beyond Never to take life for granted Slow down when you need to , do what you love , like marrying people Look after your body, mind and soul. And just LOVE and be kind ... and find laughter amongst the struggles.

14.01.2022 Nothing to do with Weddings, just reflecting on this day , it will always be a vivid memory that will stay with many . Those that died, those that grieve the loss of their loved ones, homes that got washed away , livelihood, the rescuers , the volunteers , the people, the animals.... #Time heals for some or do we just get better at dealing with pain, the memories never fade ... Our story... looking up to the sky and out to a wall of water coming down hard, never seen anythin...g like it , we were declared missing, but we were only blocked in our tiny community from getting out , we didn’t have any phone signal... lots of people were trying to contact us.. We were fine, but cried for those that weren’t and still here we are 10 years on with memories ... and feel the pain for all those that suffered. # live and love The world could do with some loving See more
