25.01.2022 The mist rising from Eungella National Park after a wonderful 36mm of much-needed rain, we had some early winter rain, but no follow-up, so this is a very welcome, happy cows and happy farmers

20.01.2022 This is the next in the amazing line-up of the Greater Whitsunday Food Network Inc food stories, an organisation that we are truly grateful to have been a part of since the beginning, as passionate supporters of our local food movement. GWFN received a CQ bushfires grant jointly from State and Federal Governments, to undertake this project to support and shine the light on local farmers and producers. Even though Cloudbreak suffered minimal damage during the 2018 Eungella fi...res, it was a very tough time for all. We feel humbled that our footage was shown and feel for everyone that suffered then, and in the more recent fires. 12.01.2022 This was the last sunset at Cloudbreak for 2020, such a year of challenges, but we are so very grateful we live in our little piece of paradise, that we have the ability to be semi-self-sufficient and breathe the fresh air, that we were able to share our wonderful cattle breed with more locals than ever, and very gratified that more people than ever are appreciating the local fresh food movement and the importance of food security. #lowline #sustainable #eungella

11.01.2022 Very proud of our community, an exhibition showcasing arts and emergency preparedness projects by the communities impacted by recent disaster events, including Eungella's 2018 bushfires, and featuring artwork by our Eungella school students and wider community, is coming to Gordon White Library, Mackay. The community is invited to the launch event, tomorrow (February 4) at 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

10.01.2022 We had an amazing day at the inaugural Bring your Land to Life field day at Finch Hatton yesterday, after our 2020 show season was cancelled due to COVID, it was so good to dig out the marque and the marketing gear, and an obliging Australian Lowline, and talk to some like-minded, enthusiastic people passionate about farm sustainability and food security. Congratulations to the Reef Catchments team for putting together a very relevant, informative, and inspiring event. Fro...m Mandy, Immy, Cassie and 'Nashville' the steer (Our cows are all calving, so didn't want to risk them, took a random 2yo steer out of the wild paddock, had minimal handling, never been on a trailer, never seen a crowd, 'Nash' did us proud, a true testament to the great temperament of the breed ) See more
