25.01.2022 THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAIL. Our Glebe project is now coming to a close. This project has had its ups and downs but it’s always worth it in the end. Check out this finished product. Claire from @custom.mad has truly outdone herself on this design. These tiles are something else - and we’ll, the execution by George’s team @mcgarryconstructions is on point! Laying out each individual tile, making sure that the points would fall in line with the tile lines during our roughing in process as well as laying out the linear drain in the courtyard to hide the grate and leave a defined line that emerges in the paver. We started from the bottom, now we here! Everyone should give themselves a pat on the back on this one!

24.01.2022 ANOTHER DAY OUT AT MARRIKVILLE We installed the drainage section of our subsoil drain project today. We also installed our slotted PVC lines that will collect the ground water inside the trench. We ran our simple drainage mat along the wall, backfilled our tench, even had time to put in our bars and mesh - All ready for the concrete! Great day for the lads

24.01.2022 & that’s a wrap We were even able to help good ol’ Mr Tam load up his cardboard boxes full of agg. Here’s hoping for his sake that they held up inside his Corolla

24.01.2022 T E C H N O L O G Y Thermal Imaging at its finest. Locating a hot water leak made easy using Flir’s MSX technology pinpointing exactly where it is... inside the wall.

24.01.2022 Finishing off the stackwork today out at our Coogee renovation. It’s always fun getting heights when the bathroom is designed in the middle of the house and the client also wants to add in high ceilings #funtimes

24.01.2022 IT’S THE PITS! Next step today, installing our collection pits. We drilled out 10mm holes around the pits to allow for them to collect further ground water inside the drain system. Well then wrap them with filter fabric to prevent silt ingress. These pits will be used for not just inspection pits but have many more uses. More drainage is better drainage right? ... We applied first coat of waterproofing today as well. The used our trusty @dewalttough 360 green beam line laser to get our heights right for the FFL. Yeah, we could have just measured and ran a tape - but if you’ve got the tools why not use them, right?

19.01.2022 SUBSOIL SYSTEM PROJECT We kicked off our Subsoil System Project today. First on the agenda was to get the concrete cut and removed. Check the levels and set. We completed the excavation, cleaned down the wall and filled all the holes and cracks with polyurethane sealant. All ready for waterproofing tomorrow! LESS GO!

18.01.2022 THAT’S ALL FOLKS! Wrapped up this gas project ahead of schedule- cheering! 180LM of 40mm & 50mm copper pipe ran and installed to specifications. New L40 metre bar set, installed, shutdown with a new gas service cut in also. ... All ready to Handover to the client on Monday Well done to the team on another successful gas project for one of our valued commercial clients.

17.01.2022 Kicked off a new project with one of our new builders, today - Andrew from @quadriobuildingservices . It’s a nice little addition to an existing structure. We’ve added a new little bathroom down stairs and modified some existing stack work to suit the new ceiling heights. I’ve gotta admit it’s been a while since we’ve put in a shower breech but we love mixing’ it up with something new once and a while. We’ve set all our heights using our dewalt 360 laser with the tick of ap...proval from the big boss man. Looking forward to another long relationship with another quality contractor See more

17.01.2022 I’ve always made a pact to myself that I would always show it how it is. No bullshit! I’ve shared with you the highs and the lows. The fun days and the not so fun days. Today for example was a little bit of both. One minute screwing off a roof in the sun outside and loving it, the next- in the trenches chopping up a brand new duplex and redoing all the internal drainage all because of a miscommunication with the builder. ... It’s real. It’s authentic as it comes. One piece of advice for anyone on IG.. Be yourself! Show You! Don’t try and copy someone else just because they have more followers or have endorsement deals. it isn’t always what it seems behind the camera. Peace out homies I’m back #truth #beyou #realtalk #nobullshit

15.01.2022 H A R D W O R K O R H A R D L Y W O R K I N G ? Can you really call it work when you love it? Cracker of a Friday with the boys- laying some new roof sheets. We replaced 16 fibreglass roof sheets on one of the workshops at Suez. The clients were super impressed with the work and the communication. Hopefully a long lasting relationship and we can add them to our client book

13.01.2022 WHAT A VISION! Last piece of the puzzle finished off today at our Manly project for the lads at @wilmaxconstructions . This stunning outdoor shower will definitely get a good work out in the coming months- Summer is one the way and with the beach being two streets away, this shower will be a God send! ... Love it when a plan comes to fruition. We made sure to space out the boards during the rough in stage to ensure they finish nice and tight on a full board

10.01.2022 BOX GUTTER REMEDIAL WORKS Started today on this new two storey build. The builder found defects with both box gutters which included the bracing of the box gutter, insulation and flashings of the box gutter but the list goes on.... The wind added to the drama too! But nothing will stop us coming back on Monday to compete this bad boy

09.01.2022 V A R I E T Y Over the last couple of days we’ve seen it all. We started a new project for @mcgarryconstructions in Killara. Boy has that been a tricky one - but that’s just the way we like it! We also started our Church roof rectification works. The scaffold was installed on Thursday and we installed the new capping and removed the old sump on Friday. Our chippe @cbc_solutions_ installed new framing today which means that Monday we’ll be on track to install the new stainl...ess steel downpipe and sump. Let’s go See more

09.01.2022 D O N E & DO N E Week done and dusted with two projects checked off the list. Rough in stage of our Mosman project complete, which involved wall chasing, 8 new core holes, two new stacks and re piping the entire two storey unit We also completed the preliminary stage of the amenities upgrade at our Maroubra swim school project ... Off to the suppliers tomorrow morning to get ready for another big week of new projects

08.01.2022 D A Y O N E Box gutter renewal, day one out at this factory complex in Strathfield. It’s sure to be a tricky one as both buildings have built into this gutter. As you can see it is definitely in need of a change!... Who doesn’t love a challenge?

06.01.2022 O F F S E T S Custom or Pre-made? What are your thoughts? I put it out there in my stories today, would love to hear your opinions! There are so many variations to down pipe offsets. We have always custom made our offsets onsite as we can never be sure of the angle of the walls as well as all the other variables. There’s also the satisfaction of looking at a handmade offset made by yourself ... It was a skill that was taught to me by my first tradesman and one that I will pass down to all of my boys - I really feel that it is invaluable these days. Although, I do see the positives of pre-made offsets for both efficiency and speed. What do you guys do? #offsets

02.01.2022 B O O M S U P On the hunt for roof leaks this morning on this Cathedral roof out at Castle Hill. The ceiling heights are 12m high with an incredibly steep pitch. Funny enough we actually got referred by another plumber to the job, I guess we’ve got that reputation for getting the tricky ones done. It was quite hard to pinpoint the leaks, even when we had hit it with a tone of water. This is where my trusty @flir thermal imaging camera came in handy! We were able to identi...fy a cold spot on the ceiling where the water was entering into the roof which it turn allowed us to find the leaking flashing up on the roof. It’s one of those things I’ve come to learn about tools. It doesn’t matter what brand it is. It all comes down to having the best tool for that specific job.... (well that’s what I tell my wife, anyway.)

02.01.2022 THREE TONNE OF CONCRETE COMIN’ AT YA! Rectification works completed on these rainwater tanks at our duplex project. Today we lifted the two 22KL underground concrete tanks up and over the two storey premises. All thanks to the 90T crane - we got there in the end. Access was tight, conditions were shit but we can finally say, mission complete!

02.01.2022 S K Y ‘ S T H E L I M I T We started our gas project today out at Cabramatta plaza- We’ve contracted to install a new gas service for a new tenancy for one of our commercial building mangers customers. We’ve sized up the required gas consumption and installed the lines as needed. Now we’ve just gotta hope the plumber doing the fitout doesn’t cheap out and undersized the pipe work
