25.01.2022 Henry and Etta having a playtime! Their teeth are getting bigger! Etta off with the sheep doing her thing, she's very sedate and calm around them. We haven't seen or heard any wild dog or fox activity in a long time, thanks to the dogs! Have food will travel! Riding on the sheep's back, a misplaced page of hay! This is ' have feed will travel', great birthday present for Peter, very handy! A cute Aussie White lamb, yes, pink knees! ... The season is changing! Starting to get a little chilly now! This Saturday we will be at Sydney Sustainable Market from 8 to 12pm. On Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market from 7 to 12pm. Fresh totally home bred and grass fed Lincoln Red beef, unique to us! will be available this weekend. We will also have our delicious range of pies, including some family pies!

25.01.2022 These 2 enjoying chatting to these 2! Two of our 4 poddie lambs. Three feeds a day at this stage keeps us busy! A great Mum with her new babies, they love the dog house! Henry found another old shoe! Don't know where they are coming from but he has fun with them. We have had some very foggy mornings. Some days not clearing till after 11!... This Saturday we will be at Sydney Sustainable Market from 8-12pm with fresh beef and our delicious range of pies, pasties and sausage rolls. On Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market, Gosford Showground from 7 to 12pm. We will have fresh beef and pies etc. Our pies are made by 'Sweet Moments by Design', East Maitland, using only our totally unique grass fed Lincoln Red beef. These are available hot or cold, delicious for a tasty meal. We have been pleased to support this small business for many years particularly through the hard times of this Corona Virus. Next week we will be back to Sydney and Gosford.

25.01.2022 I will be attending both Sydney Sustainable Market, Taylor Square, Darlinghurst on Saturday and Gosford City Farmers Market, Gosford Showground on Sunday. These markets provide the best possible outdoor solution to the current circumstances. I ask that everyone observes the recommendations that the Prime Minister has advised and be respectful of all stall owners and other customers! I will have fresh beef, however, some items may have limits on them. I am anticipating being a...t the same markets each week so no need to stock up. Thanking you in advance, I look forward to seeing you over the weekend. On a lighter note! The lambs are enjoying Henry and Etta's vacated accommodation! A new addition, this is a Wagyu x Lincoln Red cow joined to a Lincoln Red bull producing a black heifer calf. Black is a dominate colour so many generations stay black. We have some great Lincoln Red steers coming on with fabulous feed in the paddocks now! The cows are having a great time!

24.01.2022 Tree dust! The trees are pollinating! Gentle breeze and a waft of pollen. A bit hard to see, but the crows are chasing away the Wedgies and doing a great job! Well done crows, just keep away from our lambs! This Saturday we will be at Sydney Sustainable Market, Taylor Square from 8 to 12pm.... On Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market, Gosford Showground from 7 to 12pm. Our delicious totally grass fed Lincoln Red beef will be available along with a good range of pies, pasties and sausage rolls along with family pies and roast duck pies to eat hot or take away cold for later. Fresh duck eggs will also be available at both markets, however, Totally free range chook eggs will only be available at Sydney Sustainable Market. Looking forward to seeing you. 23.01.2022 We have a good lot of our totally unique grass fed Lincoln Red beef available this weekend, here are a couple of packs of some lovely sirloins. The sunsets lately have been quite colourful. The butterflies have been very busy around the lavender. They are all individually marked with 1 chap being huge! This Saturday we will be at Sydney Sustainable Market, Taylor Square, Darlinghurst from 8 - 12pm. On Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market, Gosford Showground from 7... to 12pm. We will have a great selection of beef eg... roasts, rump, ribs, scotch, sirloins, sizzles, sausages, mince, patty's, bones.... We will also have our delicious mascovie ducks available (limited numbers) but alas still no duck eggs. We will have our range of fresh pies, pasties and sausage rolls including our own roast duck pies. Next week, with the slight lifting of restrictions and the June long weekend we will not be at Sydney Sustainable Market on Saturday, however, we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market on Sunday. 21.01.2022 A few new babies arriving this week, this one late this evening, in the far back corner! Mouse is growing but still loves cuddles. So does Etta. Tomorrow we will be at Sydney Sustainable Market, Taylor Square from 8 to 12pm. On Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market, Gosford Showground from 7 to 12pm. We will have fresh beef and our delicious pies, flavours as well as family pies. We will also have our great duck eggs available.

20.01.2022 Spung! Henry and Etta found Peter's hat! They had great fun with it. Took a while to rescue it. A wonderful Orb weaver spider (great pic Kate) doing her nightly task! This Sunday we will only be at Gosford City Farmers Market. Beef and whole ducks will be available.... With home isolation, treat your family to one of our lovely open range ducks for Easter! A range of sizes will be available for large or smaller families. We would like to encourage our customers that card transactions would be preferable during this time. Observing social distancing in the proximity of our stall is greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone last week for your consideration. We are having more lovely rain here at the moment. 20.01.2022 A Goana making sure that it's abiding by the distance guidelines! Everyone, if you are sick, sneezing coughing, generally unwell, for all our sakes, stay away from the markets!! If necessary I am able to do limited deliveries for the Gosford area.... I will be at Sydney Sustainable Market, Taylor Square, Darlinghurst tomorrow. If you are not aware, it's only a small food market in the open, well spaced out! If it rains... we get wet!! I will also be at Gosford City Farmers Market, Gosford Showground. Fresh beef and lamb will be available along with our pies, pasties and sausage rolls and duck eggs.

16.01.2022 We have had 20ml this week. Very welcome! The sheep are enjoying the drive, a little dryer than the paddocks with the long grass. It's getting hard to see them out there! We are not complaining at all! This Saturday I will not be attending Sydney Sustainable Markets, Taylor Square, Darlinghurst. Eggs will be available, however, I will not be back there for a little while. Stay safe and healthy everyone and I look forward to seeing you again soon.... 15.01.2022 Some of the new arrivals this week. They love the houses. 'Flower' looking very regal! Warm but shaggy! Etta keeping an eye on the sheep. We had Wedgetail Eagles around so Etta has to learn to look up!... This Saturday we will be at Sydney Sustainable Market, Taylor Square, Darlinghurst. On Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market, Gosford Showground. Fresh beef will be available this weekend. Next week Gosford city farmers market will not be held as a different event will be on. We will be back Sunday 23rd August with fresh beef and lamb.

15.01.2022 Mini has been staying with us for a few days. She is quite cheeky pinching a bone from Etta but different story when Henry pinches it back. She is thinking about nipping his leg but decides not to. 2 of our 4 poddie lambs enjoying breakfast. A couple of the sheep have a hard time dealing with a shut gate and sheep proof fence. Etta keeping an eye on these two while mum isn't around.... A curious visitor at Taylor Square. This Saturday we will be at Sydney Sustainable Market, Taylor Square from 8-12pm. On Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market from 7 to 12pm. Fresh beef will be available along with our delicious range of pies, pasties and sausage rolls including our roast duck pies. All our pies etc are available hot or cold. Our ducks are getting back to business and laying their eggs now that the days are starting to get a little longer so duck eggs will be available also. Next week for Gosford fresh lamb will be available. Sorry Sydney but I'm having that Saturday off! We will be implementing our revised Covid safe plan to respond to changing Covid circumstances. 14.01.2022 It's so nice to see the fabulous green! Very pleasing to the eye! Henry and Sam having an in depth conversation. Etta and Sophie just chilling! The dogs are so laid back with the kids it's great to see. They are doing a good job around the sheep, cattle, ducks and chooks a great piece of mind in getting them. Their 1st birthday is next month! ... This Saturday we will be at Sydney Sustainable Market from 8-1pm. On Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market from 7 to 12pm. 12.01.2022 Henry and Etta just love water troughs and treasures. This Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market with a great range of our totally unique home bred, grass fed Lincoln Red fresh beef. We will have roasts, casserole, osso bucco, lean fullflavoured mince, corned beef, gluten free sausages plus a big selection of steaks, rumps, sirloin etc..... We will also have our delicious range of pies and sausage rolls.... Next week will be back to Sydney Sustainable Market, Taylor Square, Darlinghurst on Saturday and Gosford Markets on Sunday. Distancing is still to be adhered to for a while yet, but all is working well. Thank you.

12.01.2022 We decided to replace our cattle yards, so action! Me on the bobcat Peter on the backhoe. Cleaned out all the manure, my roses are going to love it! Etta giving us a hand. All finished ready for use next week.... We will be at Sydney Sustainable Market on Saturday and Gosford City Farmers Market on Sunday. We will have fresh totally grass fed Lincoln Red beef this week along with our delicious range of pies, pasties and sausage rolls including our roast duck pies.

11.01.2022 The sheep wondering into the yards for the night. It's so good to see the feed we now have. The cattle are content and growing nicely. We have had some three day sickness through, however, they seem to be getting over it quite well, thankfully. We mowed another paddock, hoping to get a good lot of bales put away for the winter. This Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market. We will have lamb and beef available along with our delicious range of pies, sausage rolls and pasties as well as our great duck eggs.

09.01.2022 We had the cattle grazing the long paddock before moving to a new paddock which was a bit lush so filled them up before they went to the new one. They enjoyed it and cleaned up the side of the road nicely. 'Mouse' having a nice sleep in the sun. He is now just over 2kg's and going really well! He enjoys socialising with Merry and some other spoilt chaps that seem to think that they can't start the day until they have had their morning smeeky feed! Like our first cup of tea/co...ffee I think. This weekend we will have beef, ducks (not many ducks so you might like to let me know if you would like one) and some heritage chooks. These are great as small roasts or for soup! Very yum! We will also have our delicious duck eggs, chook eggs, kumquats, tangelo's and of course our favourite range of beef and duck pies. We will be at Sydney Sustainable Market, Taylor Square, Darlinghurst on Saturday from 8-12pm. 08.01.2022 We are at Sydney Sustainable Markets, Taylor Square, Darlinghurst this chilly morning. Come along and get some beef and lamb. We moved some cattle to a new paddock, full of high jinx!! Great sunsets lately. Rainbow Chookie looking much better in her winter finery after being most embarrassed during her molt! Tomorrow we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market with fresh beef and lamb.

08.01.2022 Wonderful wispy clouds have been around. The sheep have been enjoying their hay at bed time. The ducks sitting on realestate only! Guarding their space! Great rock art! Definitely not from my hand, but great ideas for the kids/adults to do.... This Saturday sees our the return to Sydney Sustainable Markets, Taylor Square, Darlinghurst. We will have a good supply of beef, small amount of frozen lamb and ducks also chook eggs. No duck eggs however, as they are all molting, feathers everywhere! On Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market with beef and frozen ducks. We will also have a good range of our pies, pasties and sausage rolls on Saturday and Sunday to eat hot or takeaway for later. Please respect social distancing guidelines.

04.01.2022 Etta and the sheep with their new bale of hay. They had a good feed overnight! Henry and co. going for a walk up the hill. 04.01.2022 The cattle found a lizard out in the paddock! They were interested, he was not! Relocated him to a tree. He was happy, they were not! They then got other entertainment inspecting the new fencing and listening to Sophie chatting to them. Sophie and Sam having a good chat with one of the poddie lambs. This Saturday we will be at Sydney Sustainable Market from 8-12pm.... On Sunday we will be at Gosford City Farmers Market from 7 to 12pm. 03.01.2022 We have some great rump and sirloin steaks, osso bucco, casserole, ribs, roasts, sausages, mince and that's just some of our totally unique grass fed Lincoln Red beef. We also have some of our delicious lamb available. Have you tried kumquats? They are amazing, I will have bags of them available. We have had some interesting weather conditions lately. Our latest addition. A twin that needed a few more hours before being born as he couldn't keep up with bigger sister. Now doin...g really well, however, maiden mum forgot she had 2 so he is now part of our family. Tomorrow we will be at Sydney Sustainable Market, Taylor Square from 8 to 12 pm.
