25.01.2022 Right hand lane truck ban on Monash - temporary lifting They are getting ready to add 36kms of new lanes on the Monash Freeway between Warrigal and Cardinia roads, with safety barriers now in place to protect the work zone in the centre median. To safely allow construction trucks to access the work zone, the right-hand lane truck ban between Huntingdale Road and Jacksons Road will be temporarily suspended.... The suspension will be in place from 21 September until project completion in 2022. While the ban is suspended, trucks and heavy vehicles are encouraged to continue to avoid travelling in the right-hand lane so that construction vehicles can safely enter and exit the work zone. For safety, the speed limit in the construction area on the Monash Freeway will be reduced. https://roadprojects.vic.gov.au//monash-freeway-right-hand
