25.01.2022 Pretty impressive, this could be the future of boats. But nothing will beat the good old fibreglass boats

25.01.2022 Just a few things I've been working on in the last 2 weeks of being back. Bouncing around between jobs a bit, as one job dries I jump onto another or when ya need to change head space as being on one job to long can cause mental block. More updates to come. Any questions about any of it or what I'm doing just comment or drop me a line :)

24.01.2022 Forgot to put these up when I got them but this is the cowling I grafted onto the bonnet. It has been finally painted and has come out amazing.

23.01.2022 So had a boat come in for transom and part floor replacement, had an extension done to the transom to take a longer leg and well let's say I was surprised the motor stayed on, one slight knock and the extension part fell out and the outer skin fell off as well :/ I've done a few from through the back and never had any of these issues before. Also has had a custom bait tank and ladder platform fitted. Still got more work to do but coming along nicely. Transom is now solid and strong, used thermolite for the first time and I have to say it is amazing stuff to work with. Nice and easy, light and has less flex then timber when glassed in.

22.01.2022 First one pulled and trimmed. Will be setting prices soon, just gotta work out the lay up procedure a bit better. But they will come trimmed and in gelcoat. will need to be painted to match your car.

22.01.2022 Coming soon, ford territory f6x tailgate spoilers. Can't get these anywhere and I've looked. So a good friend has let me mould theirs so once done will put up more pics and a price :)

22.01.2022 Night time is always the fun slow parts, templating, making flanges, making sure surfaces are smooth and waxed up, ready to start taking products and making these territory gauge pods on both the standard and SZ. Work in progress and will take a few weeks to get right. Looking at twin and triple pods, plus also a replacement section for a screen on the top compartment. Watch this space :D the triple pod is only used for a template. Random bought item to help with this making process.

22.01.2022 Another year is coming to an end, everyone have a safe holidays. Closed untill the 6th of Jan, I'm needing a holiday after the flat out year I have had this year. Thanking everyone that has helped me this year getting me to the end and for the future years to come.

21.01.2022 Nearly at the 200 likes :D keep sharing around everyone. Also to my old customers I will continue to help but I won't be taking on any more boats unless it's a long term project due to circumstances I've had to change how the business is going atm so will be changing what I will be taking on as most have noticed by my last posts I've put up :) otherwise business as usual and keep watching for updates.

20.01.2022 Ford territory front and rear pods coming soon :D thanks to a mate who dropped them off today for me to mould up.

20.01.2022 Alright I feel I need to post this. Due to the current situation and restrictions put in place by the government I will not be taking on any new work or doing any call outs. But keep watching this space for updates as it will give me a chance to finish a few of my own projects I have in the pipe work. Thanks all for understanding and keep safe :D

19.01.2022 From just an idea and getting the centre part to having the first proto type nocked out in a couple of nights, triple gauges fits 52mm gauges angled towards the driver. Mounting will be unsure just yet as the normal piece clips in and has tabs on the front doing them in glass is near on impossible due to the thickness of them but I'll figure it out. Price and availability to come shortly. Also twin gauge one as well. Then a screen mounting point for the back hatch lid.

19.01.2022 Well first week back and already flat out. Spots are filling up, pretty much booked till mid March at this stage. Some exciting jobs coming up.

18.01.2022 Merry Christmas and a happy holidays from all of us here at LS Fiberglass.

17.01.2022 Two inch widened Jeep flares coming soon as well. Lots of projects going on. Watch this space :D

16.01.2022 Had colour then sanded and found more pin holes. But almost ready to lay the paint down. Back compartment can still be accessed with these pods here. Working out well. Will also see shortly if I can also fit a screen at the back so both can be used. Edging closer to pulling a mould off this bad boy. Then to break it down and make a twin setup as well.

12.01.2022 Updated photos of it and the total weight of 0.569kg :D gonna look at vacuum infusion with this and see if I can get the strength up alot more, otherwise ready for sale :)

12.01.2022 Couple of update posts with some of the jobs I've been doing. Guard off a f150 race truck had come off and been run over by a fair few other trucks. After working my magic rebuilt back to a solid guard in one piece. This one has been fun to say the least. Don't no if it will take another hit like it did tho, even tho it's back strong and one piece sometimes it just doesn't go back to how strong it was.

11.01.2022 Completed transom change out and elec winch install done, had a bait tank custom moulded to the back and also a section for a walk thru ladder part. Customer was over the moon with it. Gone to enjoy the boat for a while till it comes back and gets some more mods done. This one is done with thermolite and it's amazing to work with.

10.01.2022 Got called back out to this bad boy after it's wrap to sort of some other work that needed doing and I just love how it has turned out being wrapped. Gonna stand out for sure.

10.01.2022 Now offering pods, picked up a mould for a 2m wide boat but will be looking at options for smaller boats with a few slide in mods to this mould.

08.01.2022 We are slowly expanding, new worker shortly to join the team, also have a chance for the purchase of a few boat moulds, if interested hit me up and we can discuss, also in chats with a few designers for a whole new range as well, if you want in on the action let me know and we can arrange it all. Exciting times ahead.

08.01.2022 Hi everyone, for those that follow my page, sorry I have been quiet just got alot going on and trying to take this business to the next stage it needs to be. Also I now can offer full underhull cleans while your boat is still in the water, it's a scrape and clean of hull, props, shafts and rudders, also offering anode and prop change out if required. My diver is fully qualified and has a high standard of work. Book today for your clean. Also if you know of any one with a boa...t on the water that needs doing pass my page onto them. Also if all who follow could please share my page around to spread the word for me that would be appreciated greatly. Next year I am trying for a workshop so will be alot of expanding and growing. Thanking you all.

06.01.2022 Also a bit more done to the front bar that came in for some work, it's been a little side project and safe to say I'm happy so far. Another wet rub and then last layers of clear to go on.

06.01.2022 Mould is sorted. Pulled another one out today, got the join line alot smaller and the product lighter as well. Will do another one up tomorrow with a different lay up procedure to see the difference. But otherwise I can take orders now. If interested inbox me and we can go from there. It will be a 5 day turn around due to me being a one man team and having other jobs on as well.

05.01.2022 Another full rebuild and change all done. Forward casting deck added, fuel tank flipped and moved forward. Now gone off for some wiring and stainless work and then will come back later for some more upgrades and clean up of the outside.

04.01.2022 We'll have been flat out lately, got first set of LandCruiser flares done, only undercoated then guide coated but ready for paint and fitment, these are none bolt on except underneath in the guard.

04.01.2022 It's always a good feeling when you get a message from a customer about the work that's done attached with pics of the final product including fitment. The guard came in a mess and left back in one piece, was a lot of work and then the pic I got made it all worth it.

04.01.2022 Did a quick little fix up of a boat today, regelcoated underneath coz as normal the underside was worn away and also made up a new bow sprit style front for it as well so a bow roller could be fitted. Pictures will speak 1000 words for this one.

03.01.2022 A quick outside pic while the sun bakes it before the rub down. Have to say I love this colour.

03.01.2022 When you get a chance to work on some panels for speedway style cars and the owner is happy with the mods, scoop sat 130mm higher and just looked ugly now is all tucked down looking good, can't wait to see it painted.

02.01.2022 This is the result of a flappy wheel to remove antifoul for a wrap. Couldn't be wrapped due to the gouges from the flappy wheel. Full fill and fair then a spray and detail, come up nice and smooth ready for it's wrap.

02.01.2022 Jetski with a serious hole in the front. Now all smooth, strong and shiny again.

02.01.2022 Quick job I did a week ago, moulded reverse cowl onto a bonnet. Reshaped the front nose line as it sat to high. Customer was happy once he picked it up, cant wait to see it painted and on the car.

01.01.2022 For those wondering how moulding is done, it's a long and slow process especially for complicated shapes. But first step is always cleaning the item then adding either multiple layers of wax or PVA barrier (no it's not PVA wood glue) then once all that is dry it's time for the tooling coat layers, first layer done and then another one tonight. Then the fun part of glassing everything, first one layer of light weight glass to lock the gelcoat in as it stays tacky for 24hrs then after that needs to be sanded. Once first layer is set, onto the multiple layers and bracing to make it strong and ridgid. Im also aware that normally there should be flanges on the edges but sometimes they have to be added later or not required. But territory pod moulds are underway.
