That was my refrain when I was se...nt the Baa Ram Ewe Lanolin Skin Balm and My Lips Are Sealed Natural Lip Balm in Peppermint from @lucamarskincare. My cuticles have just become a bloody mess, (not a profanity, just a reality ), so I’ve been using the skin balm for my cuticles and psoriasis. I can feel how thick and nourishing it is, and it has been working well as a barrier on my stressed out digits. I also love the vintage inspired packaging of both products, and intend to reuse the tins after completion. The balms are cruelty free, so I was contemplating saying they were Lamb Chops approved, in honour of my former pet sheep, (I didn’t choose the name, so no hate mail please ), but didn’t think it struck the right note. What does strike the right note, is the multiple uses these goodies have. So maybe Lamb Chops truly would approve, RIGP, (Rest in Greener Pastures). Organic ingredients are used, with the skin balm also utilising shea butter and vitamin A and E to tend to knees, heels, elbows, feet, cuticles, sore noses and even nappy rash. Both are great, and probably increasingly more necessary, as our hands get sanitised and washed more than usual. My products will be working overtime, because the slight redness I have from getting burnt on a sunny day recently, could be soothed by the lanolin. The lip balm, meanwhile, will continue to penetrate my skin, to seal in the moisture needed for chapped lips. Though I don’t currently have any insect bites, I’ll certainly be whipping it out if I do get bitten, with Peppermint not the only flavour either. So go check out the range now.
