25.01.2022 Happy Anniversary to Graham and Amy Heron! It was a perfect day at Harold Boas Gardens with a beautiful bride, gorgeous groom and a diligent dog-of-honour, Desmo, guarding Amy's train throughout the day.

24.01.2022 Is it only a year? Ive loved being able to marry couples whove waited tooooooo long. Heres to love in all the colours of the rainbow.

21.01.2022 Beautiful morning for a 7 oclock wedding on the beach. Everyone was in their bathers and swam out to the pylon after the ceremony - rise and shine!

20.01.2022 One of the job related benefits of being a celebrant is being able to marry people you've known their whole life, such as the very lovely Tian! Congratulations Tian and Tim, may you have a long and happy life together. Doesn't Wharton Beach look idyllic? It was even better being there in person on the day! Heavenly. 19.01.2022 Hello there, can anyone recommend a photographer for one of my lovely couples? They want some relaxed and romantic shots of the day, nothing elaborate, that are provided to them on a disc (rather than as prints). Thank you!

16.01.2022 Some lovely insights were shared in yesterdays Life Matters talkback on the art and science of maintaining a long term relationship. I loved hearing the experiences and wisdom of couples whod been together for 40, 50, 60 (yep, 60!) years. http://www.abc.net.au//talkback:-how-to-make-love-/9226234

10.01.2022 How do you feel about guests using cameras, smart phones, and other devices during your ceremony? Several of my couples have requested an "unplugged" ceremony, hoping their guests will experience the ceremony through their "heart and mind" (as a bride put it in this article).

07.01.2022 I recently created a ceremony for a couple who asked me to honour the bride's Japanese heritage by including origami cranes, which symbolise hope, peace, happiness, and the fulfilment of long held wishes. While I was folding cranes, it occurred to me that origami is a good metaphor for relationships, beginning as two dimensional and, after many turns and folds, forming a unique shape, dependent on the maker and the materials (It's also quite addictive!) Thanks to Jason and Gina for the photo (www.jason-gina.com)

06.01.2022 I love that moment of posting the legal marriage documents to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages. Heres me making it legal for my gorgeous clients

03.01.2022 A happy ending! And how wonderful to be married in a dress with such family history; she looks beautiful.

03.01.2022 Love wins. Hurray! http://www.abc.net.au//same-sex-marriage-bill-pass/9235560

02.01.2022 Five years ago I had the honour of marrying Dan and Laura McHugh and what a beautiful day it was at Fairbridge Farm! Happy Anniversary to you both.
