The Light Collective is a group of Australian professional photographers who have joined their talent, drive and enthusiasm to push their creative boundaries, grow and develop as image makers. We have just kicked things off but we have initiated many projects such as a series of books about Australia, exhibitions and photography workshops. Together our purpose is to grow and develop together as image makers and collaborate on some exciting projects. 06.01.2022 "Cook 'N' Ice" Mt Cook and Glacial Ice on Hooker Lake, New Zealand. Ahhhhh, in just over two weeks I will be back on the South Island of New Zealand. With plenty of snow falling over the past couple of weeks it is shaping up to be stunning.... Can. Not. Wait. :)... The first of our tours kicks of on Sept 1st with the second commencing on Sept 15th. 03.01.2022 Mount Cook - New Zealand This is an image of Mt Cook reflected in a small opening of the frozen over Hooker Lake in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park on the South Island of New Zealand. The image has been flipped 180 degrees to give it an abstract appearance, almost like looking out of an ice cave at the peak of Mount Cook.... I hope you enjoy it.

02.01.2022 Windswept - Wedge, Western Australia. The wind was blowing relatively strong on this particular afternoon up near Wedge Island a short drive north of Perth. The way the low afternoon sunlight lit up the sand blowing off the peak of the dune really caught my attention. I watched it swirl around in the air, constantly changing shape and form in the light. It was then I realised I had to work as quick as I could as I was getting sand up here there and everywhere! Good times thou...gh.
