25.01.2022 On Monday's we run. We run for freedom, to clear our minds, and to keep our bodies moving. Every run has a reason.... While their season is on hold, Gold Coast Bond University Bull Sharks Footy players are running a combined distance of 1697kms from the university to Melbourne the home of their sport. They run with purpose and camaraderie. And united, bring motivation towards defending their 2019 QFA Division 2 premiership. Every run has a reason, what’s yours?

Take a break from it all with some mindful writing exercises, or save them for another time- the choice is yours. #thesweatlife

25.01.2022 Any birthday is a reason to celebrate, and we are looking at our ambassador, Indi, who's studio The Living Well Studio, Burleigh, Gold Coast is celebrating 9 years. Throughout those years trends have come and gone (bellbottom jeans and mullets to name a few), but Indi has always provided a place for our community to fuel their bodies and minds with health, movement and nutrition. If you haven't had the pleasure, we recommend a session with Cat McArthur: https://bit.ly/2AnswrH

22.01.2022 Hey there goal setter. Imo, a local Pilates instructor and store Educator, shares below her top 4 tips to creating a vision board. While in India, she was inspired by the book The Source written by Tara Swart (this is one to add to the list). Tara discusses the law of attraction and the impact creating a vision board can have on your dream life. Imo was left feeling inspired to bring her own vision board to life.... Imo’s tips for creating your vision board: 1. Don’t rush it. Have fun as you discover photos and moments you want It took me a few weeks to complete mine as I kept coming and going, removing and adding more inspiration as I saw fit. 2. Pinterest is an ideal place to start searching for all the dreamy pictures, I spent forever on there! 3. When you come to the part of actually sticking everything on your board (PS: I used blue tack to add/remove) make it special. Find a quiet space on your own, light a candle and put on your fave tune. 4. Keep some space free to add to your board. It’s okay if you change your mind, it’s your life.

17.01.2022 Meet Emporium store ambassador; Ben Clement. Ben breathes life into a unique mix of culture, art, sport and conversation. He is a multidisciplinary photographer whose work has explored communities and movement for the past 15 years, a connector of ideas and people to sport through Good Sport and the co-founder of the creatively-minded run crew AM:PM.RC.... The common thread across everything he touches? Curiosity. Having a curious spirit means I love to learn, experiment and experience and then bring an array of seemingly unconnected things together. Curiosity even comes through in his running. I'm fascinated by all aspects of running and always apply a creative outlet to it. There is so much to explore and play with. My relationship to running is a lot deeper than when I first started 7 years ago; I have more awareness and connection with my mind and body and also with the community of people I share running with. We’re inspired by your creativity and curiosity, Ben.

16.01.2022 With mothers day just around the corner, we reached out to some epic women in our community to ask them about their experience's since becoming a mum. Jess, our beautiful Regional Manager and mother to River, shares her experience below. 1. What was the most surprising thing you discovered since being a mum?... That a baby can really fit into your life, and you don’t have to change your life to fit a baby. My husband and I still do most of the things we love to do- travelling, hiking, eating out, going to the beach. Sure, our dinners are at 5pm now, but having a baby hasn’t stopped us from doing our favourite things, it’s actually made them more enjoyable! 2. How would you describe motherhood in 3 words? My greatest love 3. What’s been the most rewarding thing about becoming a mum? Being able to make my baby smile and laugh. I will literally do anything to get laughs out of her all day.
