14.01.2022 The sooner you buy land, the more you save.. generally speaking. Lets face it, nobody wants to pay more than they have to for their block of land. Keep in mind that the asking price for land in your preferred area wont stay the same the same for long. As a general rule, the earlier the stage you commit to buying in a New Land Development; the more likely you are to pay less for the land. Those who do their research and commit early are more likely to save in a favorabl...e market. By the time the developer delivers on its promise, and the market catches on; there is usually a significant upward shift in price. Another tip is to get friendly with the land agent. The better they know you, the more likely they are to tell you about new releases and opportunities.

As no block is the same, your builder will want to know: The fall on the block The soil type Evidence of rocks that need to be removed The type of Slab the block requires for your home Whether retaining walls or piers are required With a large number of building companies competing for your business, its not uncommon for builders to give you a fixed price on site costs prior to inspecting your block, however there can be a limit to how much they are willing to cover.
