14.01.2022 Sew its Wednesday this week will be something new, we are hoping it will be a bit of fun. This week Sew its Wednesday will be run in our Facebook group, Lush Fabrics (Australia). At 6pm WST on Wednesday I will put up the auction post, within the post I will put up a picture of each Auction Bundle, from there you can place your bids on the bundles. You will know what the fabrics are and how much of each fabric there is. There are some rules though, here they are: Starting bids... are $30 Bids then go up in $1 (or more) increments, nothing less Bids/comments can not be deleted or edited You can start bidding as soon as you see the bundle in the Auction post and you can bid on as many bundles as you like A bid is a commitment to buy, please do not bid unless you intend on going through with the purchase. The auction will be open during the night and closes at 8am WST. Once the auction has closed you will be given instructions on where to go to purchase your Auction Bundle, you will be able to add other items in to your cart at the same time if you wish to make the most of postage. Postage is NOT included in the auction bundles, it is an additional cost. Prompt payment is required once the auction ends or the item will go to the next in line. The Auction Bundles will be various lengths of fabric, various fabric types etc. Fingers crossed this is something you all enjoy, if it is we will run it again on another Sew its Wednesday. See more

13.01.2022 We have been receiving requests for Mini Capsule Packs so today we are going to knuckle down and create some for Sew it’s Wednesday tonight. These products will be available on the Lush website (https://lushfabrics.com.au/collections/sew-its-wednesday) at 6pm WST Wednesday. Quantities are limited so be logged in to your account ready to check out if there is something you want. MINI CAPSULE PACKS $150... These capsule packs contain 5 different fabrics (8 metres of fabric in total) which can help you to create SO many new outfits in your wardrobes, you are limited only by your imagination. What is a capsule wardrobe I hear you ask? It is a series of garments that can all be mixed and matched. Thought isn’t required when putting your outfit together in the morning, you select one garment for the bottom half, one garment for the top half and they will match because you have planned it that way. The Mini Capsule Packs contain fabric that can be worn together, with the exception of the two prints. Please see the blog posts written by Mel and Chynne on their capsule wardrobes created using the Lush Mini Capsule Packs. They now have some fantastic items in their wardrobes that make it very easy to put together outfits. By adding a pair of jeans from her wardrobe Mel has managed to create 26 outfits from her Mini Capsule Pack. And Chynne has made 32 outfits from hers by creating a faux dress (top and skirt) and a faux romper (top and shorts). We have set up four different categories to help you choose the colour palette that best works for you, the options are: Monochrome Cool Bright Warm Each of these categories will not always contain the same fabrics, you and a friend could both order the Warm Mini Capsule Pack and receive completely different fabrics. We will try to change them up as much as we can. No special requests unfortunately other than choosing your colour palette from the list above. These colour palettes should not be taken 100% literally, there may some colour in the Monochrome pack but it will be mainly in the black, white and grey theme, you might find some black in the Bright bundle but there will still be brightness to the fabric etc. Your fabric could be any base that we stock, these capsule packs are not restricted to one or two fabric bases, our whole range is taken into consideration when putting the packs together. 06.01.2022 This week I sewed up two of our new fabrics, both wovens. I have been avoiding wovens for a long time because they take more work than knits but these garments weren’t as time consuming as I thought, they are totally worth some extra effort though.
