01.01.2022 ATTENTION! #caketalk101 #closeup ..this is all Buttercream.. as for that matter, almost ALL our cakes are buttercream which are totally achievable in providing creative cakes. Fondant on the other hand, whilst can give you a pretty/clean cake (if used properly) is harder to work with hence much more expensive, yet less tolerable on taste! Something to think about when youre choosing your next cake. Happy weekend from #luxe

01.01.2022 Regrettably, we had to make this decision. One may ask "but arent you essential?" And the answer is, Yes, we are classified as a bakery and may be consider to be such. However, we are not the typical throw a bun in the oven bakery. There is a process for custom cakes. And given the curfew mandated by authorities, which we respect! It poses a challenge on our end to balance work, personal and mental space. We pride ourselves on maintaining a reputation for cakes that l...ooks good and taste good, therefore "rushed" cakes are not on our agenda! . . . I hope our Luxe family can be understanding to our concerns and the tough decision that we have made. We wish you a safe ride on this ongoing rollercoaster. We love you, we appreciate you. Stay safe!
