24.01.2022 Our Claremont job is well and truly under way. We are completely gutting and renovating this heritage listed home in just 7 weeks. Kitchen, walk in pantry, laundry, 3 bathrooms, fire places, all new A/C through out, carpets, timber flooring, lighting and painting. Keep posted for updates.

24.01.2022 This sleek open laundry design is a great space saver with lots of hidden storage solutions. Utilising all pockets of wasted space was an important factor in this design. The clever design uses the split-level cabinetry to take advantage of higher storage which doesnt need to be accessed as often.

21.01.2022 BEST SMALL BATHROOM FINALIST / INNALOO BATHROOM Sometime the best way to create space is to go up. This bathroom expands with a custom arched ceiling, matched with a custom arched shower door. Lacking space to include a window, a Velux skylight does the trick, filling the space with natural light. The combination of exposed brick and black marble-look porcelain panels elevates this industrial look to prove that small can also mean luxury.

21.01.2022 A Coastal Barn dream home. This laundry is one of the many rooms of this home renovation that we will share with you over the coming weeks. Our design created much needed storage and bench space for the owners, who previously had an open cabinet that housed the washer and dryer stack, a trough, with no storage or bench space. This laundry features a stunning pink penny round tile, a porcelain marble look benchtop with brass hardware and V Groove panelling. The clean lines an...d bold framing of this nook makes it feel like a proper laundry space. This transformation was largely due to the innovative designs, smart storage ideas and custom cabinetry. 21.01.2022 This ensuite was limited on space but the addition of a large soaking bath was a top priority for our Attadale clients. Adding a back to wall freestanding bath meant that the bath could sit flush against one wall, gaining an extra 100mm for the shower. The new layout divides the vanity and toilet area from the wet area where the bath and shower are located.

20.01.2022 The profession of interior design and more specifically, kitchen and bathroom design is not regulated by the Australian Government, nor legally protected in any way. This means that any individual may call themselves a ‘designer’ regardless of their level of experience, training or qualifications. And that can make things tricky for you the consumer. How do you know that you’re engaging an individual with ample experience and knowledge? A designer can talk the talk, but how do know that when it comes down to it, that they can walk the walk? 19.01.2022 A large wall recess in the shower provides storage that avoids protruding into the internal shower space like a shelf would. This recess is divided by stone shelves for an abundance of storage.

19.01.2022 The luxurious texture, warm tones and curvature finish of this Mosman Park bathroom gives the standard layout a unique twist. The original bathroom layout was limiting, with two windows affecting the ability to rearrange the design. To meet the clients request of a double vanity and an open shower, we enclosed one window. To give the bathroom a luxurious finish we framed out the mirror, positioned the shower head all the way up to the bulkhead and added in some subtle curvature (found in the shower screen and mirror).

11.01.2022 Our project managers consider all obstacles that arise with apartment renovations. We consider access into the apartment for both trades and materials with as little disruption as possible to other residents. How stunning is this view from our recent Applecross penthouse guest bedroom!?

09.01.2022 Creating a non invasive privacy solution was a must in this ensuite. Our solution was an angled timber screen which still allows natural light from the window to flow throughout the room.

09.01.2022 This powder room was already tight on space. Using a wall hung basin opens up the room being less intrusive than a vanity would. Our design also includes a ledge for storage of soaps and decor items, adding a personalised touch.

07.01.2022 The owners of this Attadale home, came to us wanting a more functional kitchen that allowed them to entertain whilst prepping a meal. They also desired a large spacious area, that was sleek and clutter free. In order to achieve this, we ensured the design had plenty of storage. Including full height cabinets, a walk in pantry, drawers, overhead cabinets and an oven stack with lots of storage. The walk in pantry can also be used as a prep area with the microwave and larger appliances located in here; out of sight to maintain a clutter free kitchen space.

07.01.2022 Our designers recommend using a concealed rangehood with external motor for a quieter kitchen when cooking. Depending on the model an internal motor when operating at boost (max) speed can emit up to 56.5bB(A) compared to an external motor operating at the same speed can be 43.8dB(A) (Based on Whispair motors)

06.01.2022 The unused spa bath took up a lot of space within the room, as a result creating a smaller vanity and shower. The removal of the spa bath allowed us to create a spacious open shower. To meet Australian building codes and regulations we sheeted off the fixed portion of the window. Building a stud wall infront of the toilet and vanity allowed us to conceal the plumbing for the wall hung vanity and in wall cistern.

05.01.2022 This design finds the right balance of bringing in a homely essence in what could feel like a cold style if not executed properly. The raw appeal of the industrial style has been brought in through exposed brick walls, feature beam and touches of copper.

04.01.2022 Previously this Attadale kitchen was closed off from the living and formal dining areas. The layout didnt utilise all available space and felt secluded. In our design we have blocked off the unused sliding door and flipped the kitchen to face the living areas making it a more open, inviting and communal space.

04.01.2022 BEST DESIGN SPACE FINALIST | THE RAFFLES PENTHOUSE Wheelchair accessibility was our primary goal with this walk-in wardrobe. The curves not only provide a unique, softened entrance but also avoids any protrusions that may hinder a wheelchair. Wheelchair accessibility often means the ability to adjust and customise. The cabinets have adjustable internal shelving, the shoe rack rotates and a makeup desk has been set up at the right height for our client to slide her wheelchai...r underneath... pivoting mirror included. Our designer Kerrie loves a challenge and we think she's managed to find where aesthetic and accessibility meet with this apartment renovation. 02.01.2022 This moody, NYC vibe apartment kitchen on Mandurah’s Marina edge was a pleasure to renovate. In our design, we removed the internal dividing wall that secluded the kitchen from the rest of the living and dining areas. This opened up the space, allowing for accessible access around the kitchen and better flow between living areas. The shift in orientation of the kitchen meant more room for storage, bench space and a bar! This design is the perfect balance for those who love to entertain visitors but equally love their privacy in the kitchen and want to keep visitors on the receiving side of the kitchen. Designed and built by Lux Interiors.

02.01.2022 An extremely high standard of workmanship was required to perfect the tiling and achieve the luxurious, elegant finish of this Applecross ensuite. Were are remarkably proud of the team involved in this outstanding project!

01.01.2022 Its the finer details in this Mosman Park Laundry renovation that give it a final touch of lux. To enhance the natural light we moved the washer and dryer to the left hand side and added some warmth with modern timber features throughout. To plan for the future, we added removable panels in between the dryer and washer, incase the client decided to change the size of appliances in the future.
