16.01.2022 The first section of the Brisbane International Cruise Terminals elevated passenger walkway was lifted into position earlier this morning. And, like most thing...s out here, these frames arent small! The average length of these sections is 24m and theyre 4m high, with the heaviest section weighing 52 tonnes. Each section is fixed onto concrete columns to sit 4.6m above the groundtheyll be joined together and fitted out with ceilings, floors and louvre windows. The walkway connects the cruise ship to the terminal building and will be used by passengers when they get on and off their cruises.
