Role requirements - Body Technician: To be considered for this role, you need to have a Trade Certificate in Automotive Manufacturing (Bus, Truck and Trailer) and have experience in working on heavy vehicles (bus body experience will be an advantage). Hold a valid and current Victorian Drivers Licence wit...h a minimum endorsements of Heavy Rigid classification (non-probationary.) Possess the ability to paint and colour match two pack paints. Have the necessary skills to fabricate panels and frame works and work with fiberglass. Possess the ability to weld - aluminium, steel and stainless steel. Duties: Identify body/structural faults and defects on vehicles and carry out maintenance and repairs on internal and external vehicles. Assist with regular vehicle inspections by NHVR when required. Carry out regular cyclical maintenance and services on internal and external vehicles, complete and maintain all compulsory records in accordance with compliance obligations. Conditions: The position is full time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) and will commence at our Traralgon Workshop facility.
