24.01.2022 Happy 5 Years Craig Shaw! Craig (our GT workshop supervisor) completed his apprenticeship locally in Mt Gambier & also had some experience working at Morelands before joining our Green Triangle workshop team in 2016. The workshop can be quite a stressful environment when things are going wrong but Craig (almost) always manages to keep a positive & enthusiastic attitude regardless.... Well done Craig!

21.01.2022 Farewell to the Birrells Sadly we are saying Goodbye & Good luck to one of our much loved employees today. Steve Birrell and family are chasing the sunshine & starting a new exciting adventure in QLD! Steve first started with us in 2003 in the Green Triangle where he quickly proved to be a reliable and proficient operator. Steve later relocated with his family to Mt Barker when we first started operations in the Albany region. Steve worked with LVD in WA until 2007 when he le...ft the Company to return home. In 2010 we were lucky enough to have Steve return to work with us in the Green Triangle where he has been ever since. Steve is an excellent buncher driver & his machine is always tidy, regularly greased & well looked after. It has been a pleasure to work with Steve & also spend time with his beautiful family at social events. Big thank you to Steve for the efforts put in over the 16ish years spent with LVD, we will miss you greatly but wish you only the best for the future. Keep in touch!

13.01.2022 Another fantastic evening at the Green Triangle Timber Awards last week. Well done to the Committee for their hard work organising the event which again attracted over 500 people. LV Dohnt proudly accepted the award for 'Excellence in Infield Forest Operations'. The competition not only in this category but across the whole night was an outstanding quality and it was great to see everyone enjoy a night out together. Thank you to South West Fibre for nominating us for this awa...rd, receiving that recognition was a big highlight for us and we appreciate it. Finally, a big congratulations to Onefortyone Mill for taking out the overall 'Supreme Timber Industry Award'.

01.01.2022 ARE YOU OK? R U OK Day is our national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone to ask, Are you OK? and to remember every day of the year to support people who may be struggling with life’s ups and downs. Because life knocks us all down.... Illness can rob us of confidence and energy Work - or lack of work - can make us feel frazzled or inadequate Falling short of our goals can make us feel hopeless Death of loved ones can sap us of energy and hope Relationships breaking up can make us confused, sad or angry We all need conversations, and that’s why we all need to ask people around us are you ok? By giving someone the opportunity and the time to share what they’re feeling, we’re giving that person something truly invaluable. We’re giving that person a sense of connection and a sense of belonging. We've all got what it takes to start a conversation with someone we're worried about.
