25.01.2022 MAKE THAT FOUR-FOLD BLESSING - Free large computer screen - Free large magnetic whiteboard - Free repair of my car airconditioner expansion valve (by the laying on of hands)... - And now, free iPad Air with Logitech keyboard Let’s smack satan on the head one more time with another testimony! Early winter of 2020, I had been struggling with my old iPad 3. It was running slower than a turtle. I also could no longer access many websites because my iOS was only 9.3.6. I was thinking of buying a second hand iPad Air as at that time, I could not yet afford a brand new one. But one day, a sister in Christ offered to buy me a brand new one, including a Logitech keyboard, when she observed me struggling with my iPad 3. I thank my sister for this, and believe God will bless her even more because she blessed me. And I also thank the Lord for His goodness. God knows our needs, and He supplies them according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus! Ben Magaro Light of the World Gospel Ministry

14.01.2022 PRAYING IN THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THESE LAST DAYS (PART 11) PRAYING IN TONGUES FOR SELF-EDIFICATION OR BUILDING UP THE INNER MAN SELF-EDIFICATION FOR RENEWING OF THE MIND... a. The mind, the spirit and the word In my early years being born again, I heard teachings about memorizing bible verses for the renewing of the mind. In the first local church I became part of, we even had memory verses asked during church activities which, deep within me, I have never found helpful or relevant to one's life as a believer. Even as a newborn babe in Christ, I had an implicit understanding that Christian life is about living the engrafted word in my spirit. It made no sense to me to memorize the Scriptures so that my head was full of it, but my heart remained empty. Over the years, the Holy Spirit had given me understanding that it is He who gives life to the word that I ingested and hid in my spirit, who gives the revelation, illumination and application of those words in real life. It is also He who gives understanding to the words that are written in the bible. For as Apostle Paul said, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy3:16, KJV)". Inspiration comes from the Greek word "theopneustos" which means divinely breathed in. This means that the Holy Spirit inspired the writing of the Scriptures. And because He inspired it, He will be the one to teach me what the words meant and the circumstances where they would be applied to. If He needed to encourage, rebuke, correct or teach me, He would remind me of the inspired word that applies to my condition or situation. The same principle holds when He wants me to minister to others His words for edification, encouragement, rebuke, correction or teaching. So the important thing is not to memorize bible verses but to allow our spirit man (our spiritual treasury) to ingest and build up the word of God. The Holy Spirit would then be able to remind us of His inspired word at the time we need it. The word of God is the sword of the Spirit, one of the seven components of the full armor of God. It is divinely breathed: Jesus said, "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63, NKJV)." Hence, if we want to be like Jesus, we have to speak words that are of the Spirit and divinely breathed to give life. Remember that it is not about us when we minister to others; it is about Jesus. He must increase, and we must decrease. And the key to this is for the spirit man to grow so that it can: 1.) freely absorb the word of God like a sponge absorbs water. 2.) allow the Spirit of God and the hidden word of God in our spirit to cleanse, refresh, saturate, influence and renew our mind so that it operates with the mind of Christ. 05.01.2022 THREE-FOLD BLESSING - Free computer screen - Free large size magnetic whiteboard - Free air conditioner expansion valve repair (By laying on of hands)... Sometime in spring 2020, one of Yolly’s computer screens stopped working. She needed two screens working from home. So she rang her former co-worker to ask if her husband, who runs a computer shop in Kogarah, had an available second-hand screen. To Yolly’s surprise, the co-worker's husband gave her a free one that’s bigger and has better resolution. Yolly’s co-worker also gave me an unused magnetic whiteboard which is very useful for my Zoom conferences with our pastors. On our way to pick up the screen and the whiteboard, my car air-conditioner was not blowing cool air and we struggled because that Saturday afternoon in December, it was very hot and the temperature hit the low 40s. So the following Monday, I drove to Ingleburn for regassing, thinking I had ran out of refrigerant. I was told the problem was not the lack of gas but that the expansion valve needed replacement. I was also informed the cost was $800 (which I knew was a rip-off) and that the car needed to be serviced for two days. I then rang Toyota in Campbelltown, but they wouldn’t commit to the price until they had inspected my car. I waited for awhile and asked other friends if I can get a better deal somewhere. The next morning, as I was praying, my Father in heaven reminded me of the previous days when I would just lay hands on my equipment and they would spring back to life. These include my microwave oven, laptop battery, washing machine, etc. So after prayers, I came down to the garage, laid hands on my car and commanded the expansion valve to be restored to brand new condition. I then started the car, turned on my aircon and voila! - the whiff of cool air filled my car’s interior. Praise the Lord! For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: He also is to be feared above all gods (1 Chronicles 16:25, KJV) Ben Magaro Light of the World Gospel Ministry

01.01.2022 THE HOUR HAS COME I was meditating on John 2:1-10 on 4 June 2020. I have read this Scripture passage before, and always wondered about what Mary said to Jesus at the wedding in Cana (verse 3) when the bridegroom ran out of wine to serve the guests. I also pondered about the meaning of Jesus' answer in verse 4, Mary's response in verse 5 and Jesus' instructions to the servants in verses 7 and 8. I knew some nuggets of truth were hidden as mystery in this gospel account. I...Continue reading
