21.01.2022 Miss Sass aka Ella doesn’t always agree to bath time easily and it was risky business keeping the food colouring in the bathroom so we made our own colour bath bombs! We made blue so I used up some blueberry and rosehip teabags I had in the cupboard. You can switch this out for essential oils if you have some on hand! We use silicon moulds because that’s what we have but they do expand out of the mould a bit so they don’t end up perfect shape. Fortunately that’s something the toddler doesn’t mind!

18.01.2022 Miss E was very lucky to get this cool Peppa playset from her Jmaa...so to mix it up a bit we made some grass for her camp set up. Just put desiccated coconut and food colouring in a ziplock bag and shake and squeeze! 14.01.2022 My kitchen assistant! I was proud as punch when today Miss E heard me blitzing up some veggies in the thermo and she ran and said I can help you mumma! She’s getting to really like cooking and it’s an awesome way to keep learning at home. Lots of language, lots of mathematics, lots of fine motor and lots of fun! And these sneaky veg sausage rolls are a hit here...half will go in the freezer for lunchboxes. If they make it there.

08.01.2022 I’ve been quiet over here! I’m really quite rubbish at blogging, I get way into it and then I fall off the wagon. That seems to be most of my life actually! Miss E requested painting so we did something a little different! We put some of our plastic veggies into paint trays and rolled them around to make paint patterns. 05.01.2022 We our new train table from @kmartaus - $39! It’s a great place to set up any kind of play with lots of pieces cause it has sides and everything stays contained...(perfect for me aka control freak mum and our cheeky dog that eats things left on the floor!

05.01.2022 I had a little helper in the toilet today. Rather than chuck all the toilet paper he had a great time with I used it for this rainbow painting activity with the bigger one. I mixed a few drops of food colouring with water and used pipettes to drop the coloured water onto the toilet paper. ...
