25.01.2022 This is a very exciting & practice mixing development for everyone suffering from Lymphoedema. I heard Professor Rockson speak about it here in Sydney A few months ago. Macquarie University are recruiting for this clinical trial here in Sydney Australia at the moment but only for those affected by secondary Lymphoedema at this stage. Hopefully this will Include those impacted by primary Lymphoedema down the track.

Many suffer from lymphedema, swelling caused by retained fluid in a compromised lymphatic system. One answer may be the ancient practice of yoga. Researcher Sheila Ridner, Ph.D., MSN, R.N., Martha Rivers Ingram Professor of Nursing, is conducting a pilot study, in which head and neck cancer patients are receiving yoga therapy. It's designed to increase the mobility of affected parts in order to address lymphedema symptoms, postural problems, and breathing issues, in addition to improving mood.
