10.01.2022 Did you know? Many air fresheners on the market are loaded with toxic ingredients. According to this article by the Natural Resources Defence Council, air fresheners are marketed with the promise of creating a clean, healthy, and sweet-smelling indoor atmosphere. But many of these products contain phthalates (pronounced thal-ates)hazardous chemicals known to cause hormonal abnormalities, birth defects, and reproductive problems. NRDC’s independent testing of 14 common air f...resheners, none of which listed phthalates as an ingredient, uncovered these chemicals in 86 percent (12 of 14) of the products tested, including those advertised as all-natural or unscented. Norwex Odour Eliminator is an excellent, enzyme-based deodorant for use in bathrooms, kitchens, garbage bins, lockers and changing rooms. It removes unpleasant organic odours and leaves a fresh, clean scent. The bacterial spores in Odour Eliminator work to eat up the organic matter causing the odour. Odour Eliminator eliminates the source of unpleasant odours such as mildew, smoke and garbage, leaving facilities smelling fresh and clean. This product is highly concentrated so it should be diluted 2 TBS of Odour Eliminator in a 250ml Spray Bottle of water. Will last approx 1-2 months diluted. You can use a cap full of Odour Eliminator (just 5 mls) in a bucket of water to soak items of clothing that smell particularly bad - from body odour or if you've left your washing in the machine too long after the load is finished - or if odours are less noticeable, add a cap of odour eliminator to the softener section of your washing machine. It's also fantastic when sprayed into air conditioning units that smell. When the unit is on, spray 1-2 sprays at the top where the air conditioning unit sucks the air in, or under the glove box in cars.
