04.01.2022 Back in 2016 Bryan Matthews bought Lyrebird bat number 3 and we were quite chuffed that he was prepared to give us a go. Halfway through the next season he brought it back to us and we took 4 ounces out of it to make it a bit lighter also giving it a full maintenance job. Then in October 2018 he reached one of his long time ambitions to register his first six on his way to making a 50. He finished his career at the end of that season on a winning note, taking home a Grand Final medal. His Lyrebird now has pride of place at home as a tribute to his fellow grand final mates and a memory of his playing days.
