23.01.2022 At our first ever House Carnival tomorrow, #mpstate officially launches our four houses; Waiburra (fire), Chagun (earth), Gwong (water) and Yarga (air). The houses signify the elements that make up our world, and their names are in the local Yugambeh language. The symbols for the houses were chosen from a student competition and show the colours that are assigned to each house. Please remember tuckshop will be closed so students will be required to bring money if they wish to purchase lunch or contribute to fundraising for Save the Children.

12.01.2022 Mabel Force Cadet Unit (MFCU) had its annual graduation this week. Cadets are celebrated for their achievements and years of service. The parade finishes with a guard of honour and cadets are dismissed one by one, marching down and then joining the guard of honour. Our year 12 graduates march the entire length of the guard and out of the building, symbolising their departure from school and cadets. This year saw one lone year 12 graduate, Cadet Corporal Talon Wilson. His cadet peers selected his honour guard song as the theme from Superman. Well Done MFCU.
