16.01.2022 | This weekend marks the start of a month-long 2020 NSW State Championships kicking off with the Junior League tournament at Aquatic Reserve Baseball Park in Manly. This event was scheduled for the April school holidays but was postponed until now due to COVID. These boys and their coaching staff have been resilient and strong over such a long and drawn out campaign affected not only by a global pandemic, but also rain, heat and... smoke and now they are ready to show the rest of NSW the best of Macarthur. We are extremely grateful to Baseball NSW and all the volunteers behind the scenes for getting us to a point where we are able to have the boys back out on the diamond doing what they do best. They certainly have missed it. It will be a very different campaign for these players and their families with only one parent allowed to attend the event to support their player. But with GameChanger live scoring and a livestream (hopefully) on facebook we hope to still be able to share every hit, every home run, every strikeout and every foul ball with a larger audience. We hope to hear our winning song many times over the next month.
