Try Community Participation Activities such as art classes, sports coaching, horse riding, dance classes, singing lessons, vacation activities or a camp/group that builds relationship skills. Under this support item you can claim the cost of tuition fees as long as they work towards achieving the goals set out in your plan. ... This is a great way for children to try out an activity, build their relationship skills and interest in further pursuing their independence. If you don't have Increased Social and Community Participation in your current plan and goals but feel like this would benefit you, you can discuss it with your Local Area Coordinator and Planner at your next plan review.

23.01.2022 Fantastic news for all of our clients needing technology for Telehealth. We will be calling the NDIA on Tuesday morning to seek clarification on the guidelines around this. Stay tuned

21.01.2022 Just a quick update. We are still waiting for clarification from NDIS with regards the guidelines to purchase items to use for Telehealth. Hopefully we will have something soon.



19.01.2022 Another update The NDIS has been a bit clear now (maybe) on what and who could be covered by their Plan see the link below. https://www.ndis.gov.au//participants-co/using-your-budget... Further date up. Still no clear clarification. I have had one client given the ok, they had an OT’s report and applied directly with the NDIS but there are still restrictions on the type of iPad or laptop they can purchase.
