13.01.2022 A revisit to a property that we did alot of work on last year all fruit trees and ornamentals were thinned and dead wooded + formative prunning also uplifted some oaks and chinese elms. Aswell as some storm damage trees lately two tree's both by-forcated that had split off in high winds one of which was recommended a cable install the year before that went straight into the glass house , we managed to remove trees without any further damage. 02.01.2022 Today we revisited a job we started last year . The first three photos are before we started raking and reducing fuel load with bobcat/rake, the last photos are... taken today. Removing the abundance of fuel and leaf litter promotes green grass and decrease's the chance of a canopy fire that is most detrimental to habitat. Eucalyptus rubida - (candle barks) are not so resilient to hot forest fires so decreasing fuel loads around these trees will provide less chance of canopy fire and a greater protection for the tree's and habitat that lives within them. The Eucalyptus rubida are the best habitat trees in the macedon ranges they do not resist decay well and are normally susceptible to termites and branch failure eventually creating hollows for ducks ,bee's ,cockatoos , possums and so on. 21.12.2021 Both machines on the same job dealing with a massive cypress that had uprooted ! Big machine lifting the stump out and dealing with the logs whilst the red machine cleared out all the branches ! Tree was moved in its entirety by Ken in the 30t so stump did not crush /damage shed once log was cut.... Then haulage of machine back to woodend . Good day! Macedonrangestreeservice.com.au
