20.01.2022 Hi from the Macintyre Boathouse. We are enjoying coordinating the final design stages of the fit out of the venue. When we researched the history of the Goondiwindi community's engagement with the river we found some wonderful photos from the 1880's onwards of boating and town gatherings on the Macintyre. From this it gave us inspiration for our subtle design touches to create a unique ambience that reflects the location and history of the venue. To this end we are applying a contemporary interpretation of the Art Nouveau period to support the casual sophistication from days gone by along the river bank. Artwork, lighting and furnishing that says, "welcome and have a good time".

20.01.2022 A good french bubbles to celebrate the DA for the material change of use for our building the Macintyre Boathouse being approved by town planning this week. Please continue to be patient with us as now the liquor licence process can begin!!! Getting closer to opening. One task at a time.

13.01.2022 We wish to confirm that we are taking bookings for Functions for dates from the 1st of June onwards. It appears that there is some confusion with a number of inquires this week having heard we will not be opening until August. This is incorrect. We are really looking forward to sharing what we have created with the Goondiwindi community, the team is in place and a fresh regional menu for the winter season finalised. 05.01.2022 Hi from the Macintyre Boathouse. We thought we would share one of the items that will be on our Winter Lunch Menu. Croque Monsieur which literally translates as "Mister Crunchy" in French to English. Think the ultimate ham and cheese sandwich. Sour dough bread and bechamel sauce made in our kitchen paired with local Gooralie ham and French Gruyere Cheese. A dash of quality Australian mustard and its the perfect comfort food on a chilly day.
