25.01.2022 Good evening everyone!! The miniature Trains will be running this week on both Saturday and Sunday. That’s right both days!! So if you always wanted to come and could make it on a Sunday then we will be running on Saturday. Both days commence at 10am and finish at 2pm. Closed in shoes and a gold coin donation to ride. We may even have a few visitors from other clubs being there pride and joys for a run on our tracks.... Hope you can all make it to Muller Park at Ooralea on either day this weekend to support our club

25.01.2022 Happy New Year Mackay !! Miniature trains are dusting the cobwebs, cleaning the track and mowing the lawn (when the rain stops) for another year of fun. We are hoping to be running for the first time in 2020 this Sunday the 2nd of February. Location is the track at our beautiful Muller Park, Ooralea. Cost is a gold coin donation per ride and closed in shoes must be worn. ... If your news years resolution was to spend more time outdoors with the family then our Miniature train Club is the place for you. We will be firing up at 10am and running till 2pm. Hope to see you all there!!

24.01.2022 MINIATURE TRAINS ARE ON THIS WEEKEND!!! That’s right!! We return again this Sunday the 2nd of June for our monthly public run. Come on over to Muller Park at Ooralea between 10am and 2pm to ride the 5 inch scale model trains. Nobody is too old or too young to ride and it’s great family fun. It’s an inexpensive day out with each ride costing only a gold coin donation. Closed in shoes are also a must when riding. Share with your friends and family and spread the word to come play trains with us this weekend!!

22.01.2022 Happy new year from the Miniature Train Club!! We return for 2019 on Sunday the 3rd of February, weather permitting. We will be lighting the boilers, fuelling the motors and dusting off the cobwebs for another Public Run Day. We will be running from 10am till 2pm at Muller Park, Ooralea. Closed in shoes and a gold coin donation to ride. For those of you wanting to book a party with us, we operate in 3 time slots every Saturday and the cost is $75 for up to 30 kids. You get ...a train with driver allocated to your party for 2 hours of rides. Cost covers the train only as we don’t supply catering. PM this page for more info. See you SUNDAY

18.01.2022 Well as we move closer to the end of the year, The Miniature Train Club will be opening the track up to the public for the last Public Run of 2018. I hope you can brave the heat and come to Muller Park at Ooralea one more time to send out the club for 2018 with a bang. Usual gold coin donation and closed in shoes must be worn to ride. Come see us between 10am and 2pm this Sunday the 2nd of December. Please not we will reopen in February for private parties and public runs. 16.01.2022 Welcome to the weekend Mackay!!! It’s the time of year when the Xmas Fairs start again. Come and see the miniature trains running on our portable track at Col Story Park tonight for the West Mackay Rotary Fair. They have jumping castles, ham wheels, rides for the kids, bike giveaways and Santa will make an entrance. Start Time of 6 and concludes at 9.... Great family fair with hot food available all night. Bring the family down for a great night of fun and support the West Mackay Rotary Fair

In line with the advice from the Federal Government in relation to the COVID 19 virus, The Miniature Train in Mackay will be closing until further notice. The following events will be cancelled.... Private Birthday Parties Monthly Public Sunday Runs School Holiday Public Runs We do apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused as we align to the social distancing required and the importance of minimising social events . 12.01.2022 Miniature Trains are running this Father’s Day!!! You heard right, we are dusting off the cobwebs to bring the little trains out for the young and the young at heart. Nothing could beat a picnic in the park while you take Dad on a train ride. Let’s face it, every Dad loves Trains no matter how old they are. Bring a gold coin donation and closed in shoes to Muller Park at Ooralea this Sunday the 2nd of September. Variety of food available in locations close to the park. We wil...l be running from 10-2. Come down to spend Father’s Day with all of the volunteer Dads that run our great club.

We have 3 Public Runs coming up over the next few weeks!! 1st Run - Sunday the 7th of April from 10am-2pm... 2nd Run - Wednesday the 10th of April from 10am-2pm 3rd Run - Wednesday the 17th of April from 10am-2pm We still ask for a gold coin donation to ride and closed in shoes when riding. We are busy oiling, greasing and maintaining the trains, wagons and tracks for the public runs. Please support our organisation by bring the family down to Muller Park at Ooralea to ride the 5inch scale model trains. It’s for the young and the young at heart.

This Saturday the 3rd of November you can come and ride the Miniature Trains at St Mary’s school fair followed by the Victoria Park’s school fair on the 10th of November. Our monthly public run is at Muller Park, Ooralea from 10-2 on the 4th. This will be the second last public run for 2018 so please keep up your support for our club.
