24.01.2022 Long Distance Coach services have been impacted by reduced services announced this morning by the Minister for Transport and Main Roads. Services impacted (from March 31): Saturday (Mackay to Emerald) Sunday (Emerald to Mackay)... Sunday (Mackay to Emerald) Monday (Emerald to Mackay) Changes will remain in place until advice is given. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.

20.01.2022 Don't forget that Monday the 2nd of October is a public holiday! TransLink services will NOT operate on Monday. Mackay to Emerald will operate as per usual over the weekend and the public holiday. Giddy up North Queensland Toyota Cowboys bring it home!!!

11.01.2022 Please see below link for information relevant to fare increases on Public Transport in Queensland for 2018. Mackay will see an increase of approx 2.61 % for all fares (School transport and TransLink services). Fares will be effective from the 22nd January 2018, and those purchasing school smart cards will be charged the new fares effective 8th January 2018. http://mackaytransit.com.au/public-transport/fares/

11.01.2022 TransLink services in Mackay will not operate on the 19th, 20th or 22nd April for Easter. Services will also not operate on 25th April for Anzac Day. Long Distance services will operate all days as per normal schedule.

09.01.2022 Mackay Transit Coaches will be operating all School Bus Services under the direction of Queensland Transport - TransLink for the first (2) two weeks of school (Term 2). All School Services and Urban Services will operate to Schools as normal from Monday 20 April 2020.

08.01.2022 Due to water over the road, the road 10kms north of Emerald is currently closed. It is expected to remain closed for some time until water recedes. Significant delays exist for our service between Emerald and Mackay, with our coach currently in Emerald until the road is open. Thank you for your patience.

06.01.2022 Due to the weather event that is forecast for our region, please check our facebook page for information on areas that may be affected. Our network is large, and we cover the majority of our region with School and TransLink services. Share our page to friends and family so they can be informed should there be any changes to our services.

04.01.2022 Please remember Monday 16th October is a pupil free day for schools in Mackay. Mackay Transit Coaches will not be operating school services on this day. All school services will resume on Tuesday 17th October 2017.
