The design came from our Dawn Handbag Precut, the leather is our new 2mm Italian Embossing Leather, the bag is stained with our light-brown leathercraft dye, it's finished with our Seal and Shine and finally stitched by hand using our White Waxed Polybraid. 20.01.2022 We just received these great pictures from Jack of a Wine Cooler he made with Mac-Lace Leather products. 'I made this insulated leather wine cooler for my son in 2015, from materials I purchased at Mac-Lace Leather. For the outside I used 3.5 mm vegetable tanned leather. For the inside I glued soft lamb leather around insulating foam,... and the top I wet moulded the shape over the top of a piece of timber. The whole thing was hand stitched using my own rolled 3 strand linen thread. My son uses the cooler all the time. I will be back at Mac-Lace to get some more leather to make another one just the same.' Thanks Jack! 13.01.2022 CORONA VIRUS UPDATE You can tell by how often we do posts that I am not a big face book user! However just letting you know that the Mac-Lace Shop is currently open today 26th March and tomorrow 27th March 2020. After that we do not know if we will be able to stay open subject to Corona Virus restrictions. We are expecting to close the shop on Friday afternoon indefinitely.... We are still serving in the shop but under the social distancing regulations and guidelines. After that we will take orders primarily over the on-line shopping cart on the web site - www.maclace.com.au and by the phone if possible? At this stage Australia post are still picking up so after we close the shop we will dispatch mail orders as frequently as we can.
