24.01.2022 What’s that?, what’s that? Thomas Jr. is pretty excited to see the river flowing again. He wouldn’t remember the last time it was like this.

22.01.2022 Great news everybody! We have had just enough dry weather to get the road fixed. We are open for business and taking Easter bookings. Thanks everyone who has had so much patience, we never thought we would get two months of rain after two years of drought.

20.01.2022 "Majestic!" - some of our campers are enjoying this beautiful area, right now!

17.01.2022 Why not take Dad on an adventure in the kayaks from camp to Temagog Bridge - a 40 minute moderate paddle downstream and about 10 minute drive from Allens Access [vid] If Dad is up for a bigger adventure, how about kayaking from Tarooka Bridge, back to camp? A few hours of serenity and full of beaut fishing spots! [about 15 min drive from Allens Access]

17.01.2022 EDIT: Booking issues resolved :) Thanks to the campers that let us know! G'day Happy Campers! We'd like to let you know that as a result of changes to insurance in the YouCamp / HipCamp merger, we can no longer offer kayak hire We will be refunding those who have already booked them. Also it has been brought to our attention that HipCamp is showing our campsites as unavailable - this is NOT the case, please contact us for bookings, we are working to resolve this issue. Thanks for your patience, Tom & Mary-Anne 0409 323 925

NSW Holiday camping is currently prohibited in NSW. From June 1, intrastate holiday travel (including camping) will be permitted. Social gatherings will remain limited to 10 people maximum. Travellers are encouraged to book ahead and must adhere to social distancing.

12.01.2022 Here's some of the camp ground, the high bank and the shed with pizza oven, sink with water, dining table, pool table, dart board, lounges and bins. There are two clean and well kept pit toilets on the property. We do not have specific sites, you choose where you would like to camp based on your wants and needs. There's much more area to camp up river slightly, in the trees at the waters edge (low bank, slow moving water, ideal for kids). Dogs are welcome too!

09.01.2022 THE RIVER IS BACK! a big fresh has come down from the tablelands today and raised the river about a metre. All the gunk is being washed away leaving the river in its prime for Australia Day. We’ll see you then

09.01.2022 We can hear the river up at the house today.

09.01.2022 Hello Happy Campers! Thanks for your support and patience through this unpredictable time. We are hoping to be welcoming campers in July, but don't depend on that, this is regulation dependent and we know how unpredictable that can be and we need to take it seriously. The purpose of this post really, is to ask "what are you doing for Christmas and New Year's celebrations?" You can book now for that, via youcamp.com... Thanks again, Tom & Mary-Anne ... Here are some pics from our campers last year to remind us of what will be soon!

06.01.2022 G'day Happy Campers! There's still room to spoil Dad this Father's Day by booking in with us this weekend Bookings via HipCamp (formerly YouCamp), just hit the book now button on our page

03.01.2022 Thanks to those who have checked in with us about the wet weather. Here's how the river was looking yesterday arvo, a sight to behold for those who camped over Christmas! We are still taking enquiries for camping at Easter, take care everyone... Yes, that is the Macleay River 'bend' that I was parked at in November

02.01.2022 "Couldn't ask for more" - right now some of our campers are enjoying this beautiful area, this is the high bank, about 40m from the MRC shed
