24.01.2022 As a full-service marketing agency Macneil & Co. has been so lucky to work with Sunshine Coast Council for many years, including on the launch of the international submarine cable project. The cable project has just won a national technology award - yet another accolade for the region and the council's innovative approach. #fastdata #sunshinecoast #digitalmarketing #agency

23.01.2022 Our Digital Strategist Kali Blunt was at last Friday's unveiling of Sunshine Coast's submarine cable landing station. Another exciting milestone! We're passionate about promoting the Sunshine Coast as a smart place for business and it's great to be working with such a proactive team at Sunshine Coast Council. #HQwithIQ #BusinessWithBenefits

23.01.2022 487 vulnerable families might not sound that many, but when you read through this list, it feels like a devastating number of people. The biggest takeout for me is the 130 grandmas caring for young children.

21.01.2022 Thank you to the gorgeous Ingrid Nelson and talented The Film Tree for another great shoot on location at Nature's Edge - Exclusive Over 50's Lifestyle yesterday. We couldn't have asked for a better team!

18.01.2022 Did you know the Sunshine Coast has more than 80 public and private schools? Just one more reason why Australian families are now deciding to go north and prosper. According to the ABC, "Families from Victoria and NSW are uprooting their lives and moving to Queensland's Sunshine Coast, with schools there reporting a spike in enrolment enquiries from interstate parents." Read the full story below.

18.01.2022 Our old office in Peregian Beach is up for lease again. We called it the Beach House Tree House. Gorgeous outlook.

15.01.2022 We wrapped our video shoot today with a very funny scene, shot at a secret office location on the coast. There's news coming about this office later this month... As for the video, thanks to the mighty @Lauren Panrucker, brains behind the coast's own Tide Productions.#sunshinecoast #businesswithbenefits

15.01.2022 History tells us companies that invest in their brand during a recession come out more strongly at the other end. That's why Macneil & Co. is shooting a new TV commercial today for over 50's lifestyle community Nature's Edge Buderim. An idyllic environment to practice social distancing! Thanks @Ingrid Nelson for presenting, @Michele Dale for producing and @Adam Erbacher for directing and shooting.

12.01.2022 International award-winning has a nifty ring to it, don't you think? Macneil & Co. is stoked to be part of Sunshine Coast Council's International Economic Development Council (IEDC) award win this week. The award is for a promotional video and multimedia marketing campaign for the launch of the Sunshine Coast International Broadband Network. Our very own Kali Blunt is in America and collected the award yesterday in Indianapolis, Indiana!... The digital marketing campaign ran at the end of last year and was rolled out in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Japan, with the objective of attracting high value investment enquiries. We worked with council to create a video with 3D animation and produced in English, simplified Chinese and Japanese. Kali is heading to NYC and New Orleans next to soak up the true US music and culture vibe. She's looking forward to bringing the award home for council's boardroom mantel! Click on the link below to view the award winning video.

11.01.2022 SUPER EXCITED! This week we launched the "Give your business a boost of Vitamin SC" campaign on behalf of Sunshine Coast Council's Trade and Investment unit. Pretty sure you will enjoy this 30 second video. Click through to get the ebook.

10.01.2022 I felt like one of the colourfully dressed at an event last night at @HuddleInsurance... Congratulations to Catherine Molloy on the launch of the Traditional Chinese edition of her book The Million Dollar Handshake. And to Wendy Macdonald for being so full of energy for life all the time! Inspiring to hear about Huddle’s ethos as a @bcorporation company.

08.01.2022 Jasmine here, reporting in from location at Nature's Edge - Exclusive Over 50's Lifestyle at Buderim. Today we are filming a new promotional video with the very talented and gorgeous Ingrid Nelson. We are so fortunate to have had such a glorious sunny day! But the best part has been getting to know all the wonderful residents here at Nature’s Edge Buderim. They have been so welcoming and are such a fun bunch!

07.01.2022 "Helpful." By sharing your knowledge openly and freely with customers and prospects, you’ll develop a tribe of loyal followers and ultimately launch your business into the stratosphere. That’s the key message marketing guru and founder of Australia’s #1 marketing podcast, Tim Reid, shared with a captivated audience including Macneil & Co.’s Casey Macneil, Bek Park and Jasmine French at the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce Better Business Breakfast this morning. Tim recommends ...that businesses adopt a helpful marketing approach, focusing on teaching and telling, rather than selling. Every one of you is standing on a mountain of knowledge. You know so much about the challenges your prospects and customers have, Tim said. Sharing your knowledge through podcasts, videos, blogs, ebooks and social content means you’ll be helping customers and potential customers, ultimately building a tribe of supporters - in the same way Jamie Oliver has built his brand on the back of giving away his secrets on television. Helpful marketing returns more customers, makes you more money and can cost significantly less than traditional advertising. Google algorithms favour interesting, helpful and locally based content, so sharing your knowledge will not only connect you with customers, it will improve your organic search rankings. As Tim says: helpful marketing is a good way to keep your website updated. If you haven’t updated your website in the last 4-5 months, Google will stop indexing it. He recommends investing in developing 1-2 content pieces every week for six months, to build momentum with each knowledge piece adapted for the various channels. It just so happens that creating content is one of our passions here at Macneil & Co. If you’re keen to position yourself as a subject matter expert in your industry or want to develop a content plan that will get people talking about your business, we would love to help! Send us a DM or better yet give us a call on 07 5448 8370.

06.01.2022 Public transport on the #SunshineCoast is pretty average, to say the least. At the same time, imagine trying to get services everywhere in such a big region a massive challenge. More public transport means more liveability and less parents driving their kids everywhere let’s support council’s investigations into future transport options sign up to the new community consultation process and share your ideas!
