(**) The benefits of charcoal have made it the natural choice for a whole bunch of things, especially household and body products (toothpaste, for example). ... Why? Charcoal is the ultimate regulator, so it's great for dissipating heat, neutralising odours, absorbing moisture and so on. Our charcoal is sourced from bamboo, and the activation (burning) process results in a substance with a huuuuge surface area, which explains a lot of it's awesome properties.
