25.01.2022 The first of the optional sessions taking place at the field day is Field to Fabric. At this session you will hear from Geoff Manchee & Ross Munro on best practice at picking time, Shane Mcgregor on how to best prepare for ginning, and Jon Hurford on classing.

19.01.2022 Mundine has recently done a lot of development into bankless irrigation. So there will be a concurrent session focusing on water use efficiency (Tom Dowling), soil constraints (Brendan Griffiths) & bankless development (Peter Lesson & Full Boar Welding).

18.01.2022 Those at the golf day on Friday would have seen our brand spanking new BBQ trailer, also referred to as "Derbo's pride & joy". It's equipped with all the bells & whistles. Huge thanks must go to Greg McNaulty and his team at GMWelding for the construction and helping with the design, as well as Bayer for their grant to help us fund the trailer. We look forward to cooking you many steaks and snags on this in the many years to come!
17.01.2022 There is a machinery field day happening next Wednesday held by Precision Ag solutions and Ground Breaker Precision Agriculture. At this field day there will be demonstrations on - Bogballe spreaders - ditch assist land levelling software, and - Ground breaker planter Tyne. Field day will be held at Brendan Griffiths, "Shannon", Kentucky Lane Boggabilla. BBQ lunch provided.

16.01.2022 Field day at Mundine on Wednesday is still on after the beautiful rain some people in our area got over the weekend. Meet at Goondiwindi Town park at 7am Qld time- buses departing at 7.30am, breakfast and coffee onsite care of Nufarm & Syngenta. Kick off at 8.45am. For those driving directly to farm, here is rough mud map of how to get to Mundine. If you are doing this, please ensure you abide by Come clean, go clean.

Tom & Charm won the Macintyre Valley Farm of the Year in 2018 and were also the hosts of our field day in 2018. 13.01.2022 The last topic at our field day will be spray drift, legislation and efficacy. Jeremy Rennick will be doing a Croplands camera spray demo as well as a nozzle demo. The EPA will also be explaining record keeping requirements.
13.01.2022 The Bayer Cotton Grower of the Year field day was recently held at "Mundine" hosted by 2018 winners Brett & Anna Corish, and extended family. Over 250 people turned out for what was a great day of learning and networking. Thanks very much to the Corish family for hosting us.

07.01.2022 The fourth concurrent session will be Getting the most out of your machinery with Chesterfield discussing Greenstar & MyDeere, Kenway & Clark discussing laser buckets, Ag Spray Centre discussing mulchers & root cutters, and Specialised Farm Machinery discussing compaction. There will also be a 10 minute Q&A session. This will be a very practical session with demonstrations and the perfect time to ask any questions about your machinery.

04.01.2022 Congratulations to Matilda Paesler who was awarded the 2019 Goondiwindi State High School Bursary. Matilda is going to UNE to study a Bachelor of Rural Science. This is where the majority of the money fundraised throughout the year, primarily at the golf day, ends up as a venture with GSHS and the GRC. Cameron was at the year 12 Graduation ceremony yesterday to present her with the scholarship. Congratulations again Matilda and best wishes for the future.

Some more of the concurrent sessions taking place on the day will be; -Bayer, CSD & Syngenta update -what is coming through in the pipelines, and -Integrated Weed Management & Best practice. In this session Eric Koetz from Cotton info will be discussing resistance research and Johnno Mcdonald from Adama will be discussing Group A’s, residuals and lay-by options!
