22.01.2022 Whilst I was a Financial Planner, I gained great experience in creating financial plans, strategising and really helping people grow their wealth to reach their longer term goals. I studied and gave advice on how to invest, what to do with money and how to manage taxes to put them in a much better position. Although you’d think as a Personal Money Coach I’d be doing very similar work with clients, it actually differs SO much. Firstly, I can't tell you what to do with your Sup...er or where to invest. Instead of being the person that tells you what to do, I became the girl that guides and supports YOU to make decisions. I teach you to tap into your intuition and your true value-based needs, to understand how your brain operates with and around money and let you start making choices that get you planning for the future while still sipping that almond latte, guilt-free. So many people carry years of shame or embarrassment around their money situation, but it doesn't have to be this way. We have a lot more control over our money then we think, we just need to learn how. I help fix and build confidence in the areas that some feel they may have neglected, I help inspire and guide you to take action that makes a difference to your life, career and the beautiful relationships you have with family and friends. Money Coaching is the step you can take before seeking Financial Advice. I like to say, if you've ever thought 'I need to see an Adviser but..I'm not rich enough...' then I'm your girl! I'll help you figure out if it's a good time to seek advice and help you with the next step. If you want to learn more about this, send me a message. Let's chat! #moneycoach #financialfreedom #personaldevelopment #budgetgoals #debtfree

20.01.2022 The solution to having more Money doesn't always start with a plan. While studying Financial Planning at Uni, I absolutely loved learning about how to plan my finances, how to help others manage their money and how to help strategise to create and grow wealth. Strategy, structures and planning was at the core of everything I was doing. Knowing I'll be changing the lives of others and helping them get closer to their own dream and their own truth made me extremely excited ...to get out there and serve! Once I finally started working, I quickly realized that something was missing in the way I was communicating and helping people. The solution to keeping and having more money has always been about making a plan, being productive and getting s*** done. It was rarely about who we are, our emotions and the reasons for our lack of actions. Those two are completely different energies. For years I struggled. When I was meant to say 'here is a plan for you to follow', instead what I really wanted to ask was, 'why are you experiencing the issues with money and what can I do to support you?'. If we often hear people say, 'all you need to do is just not spend more than you earn', then why do we still spend more, why do we fall into the trap of impulse buying or avoiding our money all together? The answer isn't that we are bad people and just too lazy to do what we should be . There is more layers of emotion, beliefs and stories that stop us in our tracks for being a living the life we know we should be living. I didn't know this at the time, but this is how I internally linked the Muscular and the Feminine energies with money. Both exist within each of us and in almost everything we do. Masculine energy allows you to create the structure, allows you to set rules in place and encourages you to be productive. Get a job and do the work! The feminine energy focuses on how we feel and what makes us feel secure, it relies on our intuition and inner work. Creating passive income that gives us room to be who we want to be. 18.01.2022 FREE MONEY FROM SUPER: SHOULD I OR SHOULDN'T I??!! We've now been given the opportunity to access our Super by those impacted by COVID19. What you can access: If you're unemployed or have been affected in another way, you can apply to withdraw up to $10,000 in 201920 and up to a further $10,000 in 202021.... Some pointers to CONSIDER: If you choose to access, money can be used to help meet immediate experiences or help recover from the impact in other ways. The money withdrawn is tax free Withdrawing cashing now will see you selling at the bottom of the market and crystallising the losses of your investment due to recent market falls. You could potentially miss out on long term compounding interest to allow your investment to really grow over time. People in their 30's can lose over 2 times the amount they withdraw! Side note: In some instances this may even impact your insurance inside super - speak to your fund before acting. Consider your options OR contact a professional planner to help you determine whether a Super withdrawal is appropriate for your circumstances. Are you thinking of withdrawing from Super? @ Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

15.01.2022 Do I Need A Cash Buffer: The short answer should be yes! Why? because the price of the unknown is too high when there is no cushion to fall back on. Let me explain....... Some of you asked a few questions since my last post. Including, what is a cash buffer and do I have too much or too little of it, so I wanted to elaborate on that. What is a Cash Buffer, first of all??? It's a pool of accumulated money sitting in the bank account or cash that should be saved for emergencies. That is, unless the most unpredictable thing happens, you shouldn't touch that money. And no, an item you've been eyeing off in your favourite store going on sale does not count as 'unpredictable' (I know, I also hate this part - but don't worry, there are other ways to plan for this). Generally speaking, 'unpredictable' means you don't actually know what will happen. So, how do you know how much to put aside?? The way I like to explain it to my client is; your ability to WORK will have the biggest impact on being able to meet ANY costs (whether planned or unexpected). For example, job loss. So, lets plan for this by accumulating a cash buffer to match your MONTHLY PAYCHECK! Everyone's situation will be different and the number of months you need saved up will differ. But, anything is better than nothing, so I encourage all clients to have 3 to 6 months of their income at the least! In the current environment, it's even more important to have a cash buffer. Although we are seeing some positive signs, the uncertainty is still high and we should all have a financial cushion to fall back on. But, what if I already am receiving the stimulus package? Well, we still don't know whether things will go back to normal once the stimulus package ends. We don't know whether more business will close their doors. I'm not saying this will happen, I'm saying that no body know, thus, it's the 'unpredictable'. And hey, back in December 2019, we couldn't possibly predict what will happen this year. So, lets prepare together! Still confused?? Remember, what I say is general info. To make sure changes you make are appropriate for you, seek professional advice. Message me if you want to book a consultation. @ Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

14.01.2022 When I was at Uni studying my Financial Planning major, I was exposed to a lot of theory and practice, which was incredible. I absolutely fell in love with learning about how to better plan and manage money, my own and someone else's. The golden rule in theory has always been 'identity your goals and objectives, and then work towards it'. This was great and made perfect sense of course. How can we come up with a plan if we don't know what we want at the end of it? As I starte...d working full time and through my experience, I realised some of the people we wanted to help didn't quite understand HOW we can actually help them. It wasn't long until I found the missing piece in the puzzle - it was hard to see how we can help someone get from A to B, if they weren't sure on what their own 'B' (or destination) looks like. Not knowing your long term goals, needs and wants is actually quite common. I mean, sometimes I don't even know what I want for dinner that night...let alone a 3 year plan?! And hay, there is no real one-time strategy you can implement to get there either, so no wonder. The reality is, these goals or dreams, if you may, come from our deep desires. Throughout my career I began to explore my own passions and true desires. Not just through strategy but through intuition. The discovery of my own self development has taken me on a journey of living to my full potential and wanting to empower others to do the same. This is how the idea for Madam Wealth was born! How comfortable are you with your desires? Do you have your 1, 3 and 5 and 10 year goals in place? Let me know below!!! 06.01.2022 Welcome to Madam Wealth!

05.01.2022 ARE YOU ON THE SAME PAGE WITH YOUR PARTER ABOUT MONEY? The way we choose to live our day to day lives can be very different to the person we choose to live with (our other half). It may be that one of you is a night owl, while the other an early riser. One might love the smell of coffee in the morning, while the other prefers herbal tea day and night. One is always active and seeking adventure, while the other may prefer to cuddle up on the couch with a great tv series ...or an inspiring book. Okay, I’ve literally just described the differences between my partner and I - but there is nothing wrong with being different. The question is, is it still okay if your financial habits and goals around money differ? Over the years I've learnt one thing that connects my partner and I more than ever, especially when it comes to money. It's that - communication is key! So, when it comes to managing your money as a couple, I find these are the most helpful: 1. Share your mutual goals and do this often. Create a timeline of when you want to achieve each goal and specific steps you each must take to get there. Revisit every month. 2. I am a true believer in having separate bank accounts for some things, but having joint bank accounts to meet mutual goals and other needs is super important. It helps keep everyone accountable and excited as they see these amounts grow! 3. Regularly talk about how each of your income contributes to the overall picture. What does your income go towards and what does your partner's income go towards? This leaves everyone feeling like their hard earned money is going towards your current lifestyle as well as your future together.
