20.01.2022 The Magic Weave CHRISTMAS FELTING WORKSHOP with Cristina Stange ... Welcome to our Christmas Workshop, where you'll learn to make needle felted Christmas ornaments. If you enjoy making your own decorations, would like to make something different, to give to your family and friends, for a very different sense of Christmas...then join us for many original ideas that we will offer you and teach in the easy Magic Weave way. You will felt these ideas into creation using eco-friendly natural materials. Coffee, tea, homemade Chilean" christmas cake as well as ginger biscuits will be provided and we will stop for two small breaks during the day. The Venue Blue Mountains Creative Arts Centre Glenbrook Address: Corner Hare & Moore St Glenbrook (opposite the Glenbrook RSL) Our one day workshop is designed to give those new to felting the basic skills to start creating beautiful felt items. You will learn how to sculpt basic forms using felting needles over a foam pad. The workshop will offer each student their choice of making three beautiful and different works in felt: A Christmas tree ornament, A Christmas angel, and a gnome or Santa Claus. Students will be supplied with all materials to create and finish their own felting creations. Materials will include the needle, a foam pad, natural wool, roving and polyester fill. All yours to keep.
