17.01.2022 We often are asked what Media Filter Valve Positions mean: FILTER: This is the normal position for the operation of the filtration system. Water flows from the top of the filter, through the media and out the bottom of the filter via the laterals (a system of pipes with special slots in them which allows the filtered water through but holds the media within the filter), then through the multiport valve and back to the pool via chlorinator. BACKWASH: Pump running with a valve ...in this position pumps water through the filter in the reverse direction to the FILTER position through the laterals and up through the media bed, lifting the dirt and debris from the media and pumping this dirt water down the waste line. RINSE: Used after backwashing to re-bed media and clear any remaining dirty water. RECIRCULATE: Water returns to pool without being filtered (for circulating chemicals.) WASTE: Water is sent to the drain unfiltered, for vacuuming excessive dirt from pool floor or used for lowering pool water . CLOSED: Used to close and stop water entering and leaving filter (pump must stay OFF).

Mr Fox picks a time, and the other players need to move forward that number of steps (eg. 5 oclock would be 5 steps). At any point, Mr Fox can decide it's "Lunchtime" while the fox tries to tag one of the players who are trying to get back to where they started. Whoever gets tagged is the new Mr Fox.
